It has a new reinforced top that makes it stronger when pulling and carrying a full bag. It is not tear proof but it is much stronger. I got the lavender gain and Fabreze scent and it smells good. It’s not too strong but helps control the odors. If you’re tired of leaks and bags breaking I would suggest giving these a try. You won’t regret it.

You can pack a lot of trash in one bag, doesn't rip or break. The odor shield works great! Even when we have fish! I don't think I'll buy another brand again!

Even with the trash that ended up in the bag, and there is a baby in diapers here, I didn't smell the trash like I could have. The bag was so durable that even when something sharp ended up in it, it did not tear apart. The drawstrings to tie it up makes it easier to take out.
