[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Glad bags are the only brand I've used for my kitchen trash can. These new ones in particular, the forceflex plus are leak, rip, and odor proof! Although these bags are thinner than the previous ones I was using, they haven't leaked or torn when the bag gets full. I did compare them to my other previous glad ones. I do like that these do also have the drawstring, which makes it easy to close the bag and take it out. There is a light scent to them nothing strong but I feel it does help keep ugly odors down. Now the things I have put in the trash haven't been anything heavy. So with heavier items not sure how good these would hold up.

Oh, I just love opening a new bag, and getting a wiff of that awesome febreze smell! Same goes for taking out and tying up a full bag! The febreze is such a better smell than all the nasty garbage in the bag! I love love love these, couldn't live without now!!

Gain Lavender Drawstring 13 Gallon Kitchen Trash Bags are great, quality trash bags. Extremely sturdy without ripping and no leaking. Best trash bag I’ve used. Has lots of flexibility and stretch without ripping and can easily hold odd shaped items. You’ll be surprised how much the trash bags will hold! The pleasant scent does a wonderful job of masking any nasty trash odors. Makes changing the trash bag not such a chore!

I received a sample of Glad Forceflex Plus Gain Lavender Drawstring Trash Bags from PinchMe. I was really pleasantly surprised with the smell of the trash bags, especially when I would go to empty the trash - instead of smelling any rotted or nasty leftover food or whatever else was in the trash, I smelled the light lavender scent. The bags were also durable and not cheaply made. I didn’t have any holes or spills when I emptied the trash.

I would give it 5 stars, if it was made from compostible materials that would not hurt the environment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The garbage bags really helped keep the odor from going all over the house. It did ok with keeping liquids in. When it came to ripping it did not do so well paper still manages to poke holes in it. When it had too much weight or the garbage can was full it ripped when you tried to pull it out of the garbage can. But it is still one of the better bags I’ve tried.
