These bags not only smell great but they actually are just as the name states: force flex. It takes ALOT for them to rip and by that point you'd want a new bag anyway. Best brand ever!

I often chop a lot of veggies and am often left with heavy stalks and scraps as a result. I need a strong trash bag that can withstand some weight and these bags are just what the doctor ordered.

i used this on a week I knew i would have more smelly garbage from cooking, ie: garlic, onions, raw meat. My normal bags would usually let the smell fill me entire kitchen, these Gain Lavender Drawstring 13 Gallon Kitchen Trash Bags were amazing. The scent lasted all week and probably loner had i not needed to throw it out from being full.

I agree with so many other recent reviewers that Glad kitchen garbage bags are now one of the worst bags to buy. The 13-gallon ForceFlex USED to be one of the best, second only to the extremely strong lawn/garden bags. Now they are tissue-paper thin and break coming out of the trash receptacle. Someone is trying to cut corners which is a shame. After years of buying these bags I now have to shop for a different brand..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the "Gain Forceflexplus Lavender Drawstring 13 Gallon Kitchen Trash Bag" as a free sample from PinchMe. I do like the forceflex but I have also never had a regular bag break on me, so I don't find it necessary for our use. The scent is nice when opening the bag but other than that I don't notice it. I also don't actively sniff my trash. I wouldn't pay more for fancy bags at this time. If our needs changed I'd consider it. These may be nice for some storage applications?
