I received a sample of this product from PINCHme in exchange for an honest review. I’ve used scented garbage bags in the past, but the scent would only last for a day or so, before it would go away. When I tried GLAD FORCEFLEXPLUS GAIN LAVENDER DRAWSTRING 13 GALLON KITCHEN TRASH bags, I was pleasantly surprised that the scent stayed from the time we lined the garbage pail until the time we put the bag into our garbage receptacle for our weekly disposal pickup. My family and I were so pleased that we have now switched over to GLAD FORCEFLEXPLUS GAIN LAVENDER DRAWSTRING 13 GALLON KITCHEN TRASH bags (boy that’s a mouthful) as our go to brand.

I got the Glad Forceflexplus Drawstring 13gal kitchen trash bags in the Gain Lavender scent and am so impressed! My trash is usually very stinky in the kitchen since it holds spoiled food and other smelly things. This bag does a good job at keeping odor down &I'd also very strong. This bag has yet to tear or break and doesn't leak at all.

I received the Gain Lavender Drawstring 13 Gallon Kitchen Trash Bag and it was perfect for my kitchen. The scent was not overwhelming but provided a nice aroma to cover what was being thrown out. We empty our trash daily. We put a pizza box in the bag that stretched it out and it didn't rip or tear! That is what sold me. I finished emptying out leftovers from the fridge and this bag held it all. I ordered my box right after that. Needless to say I recommend Glad and the lavender scent for sure.

So it’s important we have trash bags with stretch that can withstand a little force. Getting the Force Flex version lets us know that we have the quality we need. There are a lot of other off brand products we can sub out our purchases with but trash bags are not where we skimp. No one wants to be cleaning up spilled food messes and I certainly don’t want to take the risk of having any broken bag accidents on my carpet as the trash it walked out the back door. Once we started using these and saw the thickness and contain-ability, I think we knew there was no reason to get any other kind.
