[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of Glad ForceFlexPlus Gain Lavender trash bags from Pinchme in the mail! I am a true buyer now! These bags are great! Usually I'd have all kinds of tears and leaks from other bags but not with these! Not a single leak or tear even after really pushing down the trash to make more room. The lavender smell is nice as well! It's not super strong but it does keep my trash from smelling too much. I highly recommend!

Have used these bags for years but the new version with the black ties are awful. They ties don't close properly, they rip loose sending trash everywhere and can cut your hands when you try to tie them. I suspect that changes were made to cut costs, resulting in too little plasticizer in the ties and probably in the bags as well. Unfortunately we bought a huge box of these but I am ready to pitch them.

*I received a sample from PINCHme in exchange for my review. * This Glad Forceflexplus bag smelled amazing and did an excellent job of eliminating odors! I cooked fish and chicken throughout the week and threw away the containers and packaging and I didn't experience as much odors as I normally would have with the brand I usually purchase. I usually buy the Great Value lavender scented trash bags. These felt much stronger than the Great Value brand but are also more expensive. You get what you pay for, I guess. I would consider buying these Gain Lavender Drawstring 13 Gallon Kitchen Trash Bags in the future just for the scent alone because who doesn't like great smelling things?

The drawstring is very convenient for when you need to take out the trash and it is really good at controlling the odor that can come from your trash. I am just really enjoying the sturdiness and ease of these trash bags.

I was able to fit a lot of trash in it and it didn't break and the ties didn't break off either. The scent wasn't very strong and though the bag contained odors well enough, I would have liked a little more scent. Overall, it's a very functional, reliable product and I would certainly use it again.

I’ve been buying Glad bags for as long as I can remember and have been very satisfied. However, recently I’ve had several instances where the bags have ripped open, breaking bottles in one case, spilling litter in two other cases. I’ve taken to double bagging. Not a great solution. I suppose I’ll look for stronger bags, but these have been more than sufficient up till now. I’m very disappointed in these recent failures. Maybe Covid has had an impact on your production or quality control??? Whatever the reason, I hope you’ll find a fix. Meanwhile I have two boxes of 100 bags each to work through. Of course, having to double bag will use them up more quickly. Then I’ll need to find a replacement.
