[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new Kitchen OdorShield trash bags have a pleasant smell. The lavender scent is very useful for masking the scent of garbage. The bags are very strong and flexible which keeps them from being ripped open accidentally.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are fine trash bags, but nothing special. Although it said "unscented," I was not a fan of their scent, which I found to be quite strong. I may not be the best judge, though, as I find most artificially scented things to be quite noxious. The larger issue that I had was with the pull string. It was really difficult to pull the trash bag completely closed after removing it from the trash can. Instead of being able to quickly tie it up, I generally had to pull/fight with it for a bit and then eventually give up and just leave it partially open as I carried it out to the dumpster. I wouldn't purchase this product again because of that.

First off this brand is amazing. The bag are super strong and durable and the smell is really good and covers the odor of the trash.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I know it may seem odd but I am super happy that these actually fit in my garbage can without having to stretch it so much that it inevitably rips on one side. Also these things can take a beating and they just do not rip. We were using one and threw lobster tail shells in there and not only was there no old seafood smell but the lobster tails did not cut the bag. I highly recommend these trash bags.

Because the odor neutralization of the Fresh Scent bags really makes a difference. I think the fact that it's Febreeze odor neutralizers makes it more effective than the other scented garbage bags I've tried. It's a bonus which just makes the high quality you get with the Glad brand that much better. My trask can smells better when I put the new bag in too. That's how I'm sure it's working.

We used the Glad Forceflexplus Gain Lavender Drawstring 13 Gallon Kitchen Trash Bag in our diaper pail to have added protection against odors. The scent helped to hide the odor in the pail compared to non-scented bags. I am now looking for an odor neutralizing bag so it helps eliminate the odor instead of just help hide it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would say I really liked this Glad Forceflexplus Gain Lavender Drawstring 13 Gallon Kitchen Trash Bag because it had a wonderful scent that did a great job at blocking the odors from the garbage. Also I liked this product because it held a lot of garbage and it didn't rip at all when I pulled the garbage bag out of the garbage can.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would not recommend these trash bags. The very first bag we used ripped when we were pulling it out of the garbage can. We weren't even applying much force and the bag wasn't overly full and we got a big hole. The second bag we used did not have the claimed odor shield. I put some veggies in the trash after dinner, they were the only thing in the bag, and then next morning the smell in the kitchen was so terrible that we had to throw out the whole bag with only a few veggies in it. We are on the 3rd bag of this box and no issues with this one. There are pros to these bags which I don't want to dismiss because of the cons. The drawstring is strong and sturdy. About two inches below the drawstring the trash bag has force flex and that seems very sturdy. (We had the whole in the 2inch area of non force flex.) We had no leaks from the sides or bottom of any of the bags. Overall the bags are ok, but I would not recommend to friends.

I am definitely a fan of Glad Forceflexplus bags because you can stuff a lot of things in them without ripping the bag. I've tried other Gain scented Glad bags and just like the rest this one did not disappoint. It had a strong fragrance not in a bad way that kept the trash can deodorized, trapping and eliminating any foul smells without just masking it and making it smell worse.

Have used these bags for years but the new version with the black ties are awful. They ties don't close properly, they rip loose sending trash everywhere and can cut your hands when you try to tie them. I suspect that changes were made to cut costs, resulting in too little plasticizer in the ties and probably in the bags as well. Unfortunately we bought a huge box of these but I am ready to pitch them.
