The scent wasn't too over powering, nor too light. It was exactly what inwouodnhave expected from Glad. As far as strength goes, I have never had them tear on me or rip. They are pretty sturdy. I tend to empty my trash less when using these bags than my original brand.

The stretch in the material made them expand a bit more then normal bags without ripping. There was a nice lavender scent that emanated from them making my trash can not end up smelling as bad also.

I received a sample of Glad Forceflexplus Gain Lavender Drawstring 13 Gallon Kitchen Trash Bag from PINCHme. The first thing I noticed was the clean scent! It really does help to hide any unpleasant smells that start to grow as the trash piles up. The next thing I noticed was how strong it was. Since the bag stretches, we were able to squish down our trash more to hold more (meaning less trash bags we needed to use). We typically buy the store brand trash bags to save money, but this would be something I'd consider if we had money in the budget to splurge.

I am very sensitive to "perfumes" and have learned the hard way to be sure to purchase unscented garbage bags but these ARE SCENTED. So much so that they brought on the "perfume" headache I try so hard to avoid. If you have any sensitivity, do not purchase these bags. Saying they are "unscented" is not accurate.

I can overstuff them with no worries that they will rip. The added feature of a fresh scent is a bonus over smelly garbage. They transport easy and are easy to close with the drawstrings. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 13 gallon bags were a tight fit for a 13 gallon garbage can, especially the opening. I realize these are made to stretch, but it was difficult to use and the higher price for the "ForceFlex" is not worth it. My husband and son hated using these also. I was anxious to try these because we have always used regular Glad trash bags and have noticed that the quality is no longer the same, the bags were tearing too easily. The ForceFlex bags are definitely stronger, but I had to fight with it to use it.

The bag was very strong and flexible. We would definitely buy these. It also does a good job of masking usual smells. My mother, who is very picky, when I put another type of bag in our trash can, she immediately replaced it with one of these. Very huge fans of this bag.

I love that the Glad Forceflexplus Gain Lavender Drawstring 13 Gallon Kitchen Trash Bag is based on a scent from Gain, so I can aim for uniformity with smells in my house (my trash is near my laundry room). Sturdy bag but will have to check the price in the stores. The lavender is also pleasant. I don't usually like it, but this is nice
