That was not the case with these febreze Glad bags. The smell is very pleasant and also very subtle, but does seem to last a long time. The bags themselves are made strong. I never have to worry about the dreaded trail of dirty drips following me when I carry the bag through the house and outside.

I was very afraid that I wouldn't like the scent, since I am not fond of lavender. I was pleasantly surprised that the scent was not overpowering but kept the trash can fresh and odor-free. The bag fit my trash can perfectly, and the drawstrings worked as they should. This is a quality product that I will definitely purchase in the future.

We actually already buy Gain trash bags but we had never tried this scent. We also use these in our diaper pails and the Lavender scent has been amazing for that! Seems to be sturdy, holds up to a heavy trash load, and doesn't tear easily. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because the smell seems to morph the linger it's in the trash can.
