[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can’t speak to the scent because I couldn’t smell anything and I honestly don’t know if it was me or if the scent just wasn’t really there. However, this is a double layered trash bag which is really nice as far as keeping trash items from potentially ripping through. I don’t know if it helped keep odors at bay because nothing particularly stinky was thrown into the trash that week and I only had the one bag I received as a sample. That said, I liked what I tried enough to switch from Hefty brand of the stretch bags to this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like these bags. I'm used to using generic bags from a big box store. The smell is great. the bags themself include long tie handles and a webbed structure which allows for expansion. Not super convinced on the durability as a bag ripped when I was taking it out of the trash bin to dispose. see pic (maybe I exerted way to much force). However I did a "stretch test" between my old bags and these Glads. Same pressure- pull - noticable differences between the generic bags vs these Glads. the Glads won this test -- much better quality!

I was impressed by the long lasting scent. It’s very subtle, but noticeable. It kept the garbage odors minimal. I also liked the strength of these bags. They’re well made and worth purchasing.

I love that they have the drawstring in them so you aren't fighting to get them sealed up somehow, just pull the plastic sting and tie it off. The odor shield is great to keep any odor in and not out in you kitchen and the leak guard works fantastic, no worries about messy drippings seeping trough. The forceflex keeps the bag from tearing no matter how full you stuff it. This bag is definitely a keeper.

As a mom, these glad forceflexplus trash bags are great! I got a sample of the gain lavender drawstring 13 Gallon Kitchen Trash Bag. I am constantly throwing dirty diapers away and these hide the smell much better than regular. I also pack these bags very full and they hold up. Definitely buying more!!
