The first time I bought this product I loved it and recommended it to all my family and friends! The second purchase, however, was extremely disappointing in that they changed the cutting edge to cheap plastic which does not work!!! I have to use scissors to cut the wrap or it becomes a jumbled mess. It has become the most frustrating product in my kitchen and I will not buy it again unless they improve the packaging.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The glad press and seal really does just that. With a quick press it seals very tight. I covered some leftovers with it and they stayed fresh and the seal stuck. It is great for those odd shaped containers that usually have no lids. I always seem to have a lot of leftovers so this is a great product for me. I also wrapped a cut 1/2 onion and it sealed it perfectly and kept it fresh.

Finally I gave in and brought a roll home. I now know what they were talking about. Thanks Glad for such an awesome product. PS last time I noticed my dad had 6 rolls in his cabinet. Guess he wants to make sure he always has Press n Seal on hand!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Press n' seal is a reliable product. It seems to work on just about every surface, so no worries there. I've been using saran wrap for most of my clear film needs, and press and seal is a little "stickier".

I have used this product for years and it is great. But the last box I bought had a terrible cutter. The only way I could use was to cut with scissors and that is too burdensome. I wrap things I put in freezer to help with the seal and it works great. But I am searching for another product now due to the cutter on the box. It is too expensive to waste too much because of the cutter. The cutter popped off first time I used and I tried to fasten it back but it came off again. It was good enough to cut the film anyway. You will lose sales if you you don't fix this. Would not recommend with the current cutter. Definitely would if you fix this problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using press'n seal in my kitchen, and all over my home. My personal favorite use is for storing breakable items, like candy dishes and cookie jars with lids. I start by covering the opening of the dish/jar and place the lid in the correct spot. I then wrap the entire jar making sure i circle around to cover the lid. This prevents any movement (or breakage) while in storage.

I love the product itself. However, the cutting edge is not straight and does not cut the product. A plastic rings to hold it in place while pulling and cutting are also deficient and do not hold for very long. If these two features were fixed, this would be a wonderful product! But it's difficult to always have to struggle with it when needing to use it.

I have been using Press'n Seal since it was first introduced, and I love the product. However; I don't love the larger packaging. I recently bought a Value Size box (140 Sq. ft.# thinking it would be a better value, and keep from having to purchase it so often. I have never had an issue getting the product to cut cleanly, until I bought this large box. I think the problem is the geometry of the container - the distance from the cutting surface to the top edge of the cardboard box is long enough#2 3/16") to allow the cardboard to bow, which in turn allows the cutting surface to bow. The cutting edge needs to remain rigid to get a good cut. My short term solution is to buy the smaller container in the future. My recommendation to GLAD is to revisit the packaging on this larger size, and somehow stiffen the box or the cutter to allow a better cut.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is very convenient to have on hand especially if you can't find a lid for Tupperware. Easy to rip off into sizes you need and holds a good deal. Everything I have used it on has stayed fresh. Good product.
