Used this for years

We have used this for years and loved it. But now, with the plastic tear strip, it is almost impossible to tear the press and seal. Please, please go back to the metal strip. I don’t want to purchase this anymore as long as the plastic strip is still part of the features.

Unusual use for Cancer patient!

I am fighting Stage 3C Clear cell Ovarian Cancer for the 2nd time since Nov 2014. I had one year almost in remission and its now back. To save my veins and some pain since I did all chemo via IV and blood tests etc., I now have a PICC line in my arm and because of it, I have to keep it dry during showers. They have a plastic sleeve thingy that you can put on with buckles but I can't do it one handed. So out comes the Press and Seal wrap and ta da, I can shower and keep my PICC line dry! Yay for Glad Press and Seal! I use quite a bit to wrap around my arm so wonder if it comes in longer length boxes? Thanks Glad!!!

Very versatile!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am using this product to seal bowls and cups for leftover storage. I used it to wrap cakes at the holidays. I like how it sticks to my product. I do have an issue trying to use it without it sticking to itself, but not any more than regular plastic wrap. I love how easy it is to store leftovers with. I like this product much better than regular plastic wrap.

Simple Solution

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is great! No more digging through the container cabinet trying to match the lid to the food container. just simply put the food in the container & place the Glad - Press’n Seal Home Collection on top. It clings & keeps the food fresh. Odors don’t escape into the fridge either. It’s a nice tight seal

Works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this because my food saver stopped working. So great to be able to seal a steak, pork chop, or piece of chicken in between 2 pieces of press and seal and freeze it without worry. Seals great around bowls or cups...anything you can think of, it works! Highly recommend!

Value Size box needs improvement

I have been using Press'n Seal since it was first introduced, and I love the product. However; I don't love the larger packaging. I recently bought a Value Size box (140 Sq. ft.# thinking it would be a better value, and keep from having to purchase it so often. I have never had an issue getting the product to cut cleanly, until I bought this large box. I think the problem is the geometry of the container - the distance from the cutting surface to the top edge of the cardboard box is long enough#2 3/16") to allow the cardboard to bow, which in turn allows the cutting surface to bow. The cutting edge needs to remain rigid to get a good cut. My short term solution is to buy the smaller container in the future. My recommendation to GLAD is to revisit the packaging on this larger size, and somehow stiffen the box or the cutter to allow a better cut.

Love this Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a total believer in the Press'n Seal brand. I was always so frustrated trying to use the old "Plastic Wraps" in the past. I always spent more time and energy trying to cover my leftovers from a big dinner, than I spent cooking the meal. Was always fighting with the old wraps sticking together, never staying on the bowl or pan and just felt useless. BUT NOW, comes the life saving Press'n Seal.. This stuff is so easy to use and works super to. Stays on whatever type of surface I apply it to, and doesn't get stuck to itself when trying to put it on. LOVE IT.. Thank you Glad..

a Happy Accident

I actually bought this Glad Press ’n Seal, thinking it was regular Glad plastic wrap. Well, I was very pleasantly surprised that it is versatile and kept my food fresh! Now, I use it ALL the time. I can usually get about 4-5 uses from it before I recycle it.

Great product - poor packaging

Unfortunately, this great product suffers from a packaging headache that I either did not notice before of there has been a packaging change. The tear strip to open will easily damage the very thin, flimsy plastic cut strip rendering the whole box useless. Cannot "handle" the roll, as even delicate handling will cause the roll to stick to itself. Therefore transferring to another box will likely damage the product. Put the metal strip back!
