One of the best inventions ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are a handful of inventions over the years that have truly revolutionized human society. The printing press, silicon computer chips, The polio vaccine, vulcanized rubber tires... AND GLAD PRESS ‘N SEAL. When I first got married I sent a text to my wife when she was out grocery shopping and asked her to pick up some Press ‘n Seal since I was running low. She brought home some regular old cling wrap like it’s 1960 or something. I was actually kind of upset & showed her the text where I specifically told her to get Press ‘n Seal. She laughed and said “It’s all the same”?!? I promptly challenged her to a Leftover Soup Duel!!! loser had to clean the kitchen. She covered her bowl with the junk she brought home. I covered my soup bowl with a piece of my coveted Press ‘n Seal. Then, just like in the commercial, I flipped it upside down in one hand. She attempted it, but made a huge mess because of course it’s NOT “all the same”. We now NEVER run low on Glad Press ‘n Seal. EVER.

Great idea

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got my glad press n' seal a couple of days ago. I am pleased with the way it works. Once you apply pressure to the sticky side of the material, it seals to the surface. I would recommend this product to friend

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Glad for Press’n Seal ® Home Collection. To me, it is so much easier to use than cling wrap because it will stick to any type of container. It had a slightly sticky surface thst easily peals off when needed for use. It doesn't stick to it self like most static cling wraps does either. Great addition to my cabinet.

Easy table to fridge food storage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I find that press'n seal makes saving leftovers super convenient. I can leave the food on the plate or bowl, quickly cover with a piece of press'n seal, swipe my finger around the edge, and pop it in the fridge. I avoid extra dishes, because I can reserve on the original dish.

Great topper!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family uses press n seal but this is my first time. when I open the package I was surprised at how lights it was, however it does not have to be heavy as the material is very light. when you roll it out of the package the bottom side is a sticky consistency which allows it to stick to whatever you are pressing it to. Henceforth the name stick n seal. The blade for the package is at the top of the flap. Which allows you to pull up when tearing off the sheet. It tore easily from the box and sealed the bowl without any issue. I was surprised to read this is microwavable!

Game Changer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never liked saran wrap because it was always an instant fight for me. That being said Press N Seal is a complete game changer. I love it. It is so easy to use and just run your finger around the edge of the bowl and wallah ypyr all sealed and ready to go. I can't wait to cover leftovers up pn Christmas. It's a definite must have in the kitchen.

works well packaging poor

More than a year ago I commented on the packaging and I would like to repeat my comments. The cutting strip on the Cling Wrap box was moved from the bottom part of the package to the 'lid' part. What a very poor decision. Most other products do not do this. The motion of wripping off the wrap causes it to fold over and stick to itself. It is not a natural movement. The top lid of the box has less material and by the time you get to the end of the role the box has weakened and makes it harder to tear off the wrap. CHANGE it back so the cutting edge is on the top lip of the bottom part of the container. Admit you have made a poor decision. The box is more re-inforced both by the amount of material in the bottom part plus your hand grasps and steadies the container. It is more ergonomically correct to tear the wrap in a downward motion. The motion of wripping off the wrap in a downward motion allows a cushion of air to support the wrap as you tear it and hence prevents (reduces) the folding over of the wrap onto itself. It just makes sense!! Try it...you'll like it...again.

Best Product, Worst Packaging

I love the Press and Seal product. Absolutely the go-to platic film! Recommend a complete rethink of the packaging. EVERY box I've bought goes through this evolution: On my first use, I bend the lid because the ripping teeth are on the flimsy lid not the more solid body of the box. Then, one of the white central caps that the product rolls on falls out. and I lose it rendering this support system useless. The other one quickly disappears shortly after. The teeth become less and less effective as the top disintegrates. Recommendations: 1. Put cutting teeth on the body of the box (tear downward). 2. Glue those darned plastic roll support tabs into place so they don't come out!

Using PressNSeal to PAINT!

I love PressNSeal (PNS) for daily use and have used it for years. We are re-doing a bedroom and were at a loss how to properly paint the wall close to the carpet without getting paint on the carpet. I tore 4" strips of PNS and tucked it down into the space between the wall and the carpet (see pics). I overlapped the strips all the way around the room. Two coats of paint later.... beautiful!

Excellent storage wrap that actually sticks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using Glad press n seal for quite awhile and just love it, it's the only sealing wrap I use now. It actually sticks to containers or dishes and holds tight, unlike other sealing wraps that stick to itself but not to the container. It provides a solid seal, prevents spills and leaks, keeping food fresh. I can open and close it multiple times and it retains its stickiness. It is easy to cut and easy to use - sticks to any storage container, whether plastic, glass or metal. What a great product, "old fashion" sealing wraps should be retired! This is the only sealing wrap you should use!!
