Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really enjoyed using my Press'n Seal Home Collection by Glad. This is a very clever product and it's so easy to use. It really comes in handy to use as a cover for many different shaped containers. I esoecailly like using it to cover some of my crafting paint containers when they are not in use. This product has so many uses and I highly recommended it to everyone. Awesome Product!

Great wrap, confusing cutting bar (solved!)

I have been using Glad Press'N Seal for over a decade. I love the product's ability to seal on bowls, half-melons, and other containers and food items that traditional wrap is just not as well-suited to. But I have had an issue cutting with the recent "improved" plastic edge cutter, or "cutting bar". It did not every seem to work for me, and tore and stretched instead of cutting. However, I watched the Glad press'n seal instructional video on you tube and followed the behavior there, and learned how to use the cutting bar correctly to get a clean edge. The solution is to follow the behavior of the person in the video when removing a sheet from the box. The trick is: after pulling out some wrap and closing the box, do NOT jerk quickly... I understand we do often learn to tear quickly on regular plastic wrap to get a clean cut, but it does not work on Press'N Seal with the plastic cutter. With the Press'N Seal plastic cutter bar, you must pull Slow, Firm, and Even, without jerking on the plastic sheet. Yes, even with a used bent cardboard box cover, if you pull at an upward angle, slowly and firmly, the sheet will tear evenly off without stretching or warping the wrap. I hope knowing how to use the cutting bar helps some people to use the press'n seal wrap more effectively. I think Glad should say something to clarify this in the instructions on their box, like "Pull smoothly to cut an even sheet. To avoid warping the sheet, do not jerk quickly."

Sorry it was maybe had a defect?

I have always loved this product when I bought it in the store but these were huge boxes and would not tear off right. It made the cutter detach on the side of the box. First box not too bad but the second one there was no way of saving it so I threw it away. Wish I would of taken a picture of it.

This product is not just for use in the kitchen!

My husband recently had surgery on his elbow. We were told that he could take a shower, but needed to keep the site clean and dry. We thought we would wrap his arm in ClingWrap and then a garbage bag. As I went to the cupboard to get the ClingWrap, I saw the box of Glad Press'N Seal! We put one layer of ClingWrap on the arm and secured it with the Press'N Seal. The Press'N Seal kept the arm completely dry and the seal stayed tight with no problem whatsoever! This was a great help to us, and I had peace of mind that my husband's arm would stay safe and dry! Thanks Glad Press'N Seal! What a great little trick for those in casts!

I recommend this to everyone

My sister loves this product! She uses it all the time. She even gave it to a coworker for a gift once. Currently, she uses it with a bag to cover her hand after surgery so she can take a shower. She has a box in her suitcase for our visit to another sister. Guess what she’s getting for Christmas!!

Press & Seal, amazing

I absolutely love press and seal. It works so much better than those cling wrap products. I typically use at least 2 sheets of the other brands but one 1 sheet with press and seal. I use it to cover plates/bowls of left overs or when I deliver a plate of cookies to a neighbor. It stays on and it’s easy to reuse, it actually seals again.

I would recommend press and seal over their cling wrap. The press and seal actually seals. The cling wrap really doesn't seal anything. If you want to wrap a sandwich cookies or anything else and you like Glad definitely use the press n seal. It's worth the few cents extra.

film role☝🏻

The best role paper to cover food or whatever you want, I use it for hair more than anything, super cheap, durable, lots of it, easy if I use it, it has the small one as a knife to cut what you are going to use, I always buy this resistant one, it molds to any shape and For those who do not like to use aluminum a lot, this is also suitable for covering toppers without a lid
