Delicious Sugar

The texture is similar to regular granulated sugar. It is only slightly more chunky. We love it for our coffee and I used it for homemade marshmallows and it worked perfectly.

Fair trade.

I only buy organic and fair trade when that’s a choice. This sugar is no different than non fair trade sugar. The big difference is the community this sugar comes from only has adults working the fields while the children are in school where they belong. The adults earn a living wage.

Better sugar option

Much better than refined white sugar. Better flavor and less processed.

Great product at a great price

I recently learned that many sugars are made through a process known as bone char. If you’ve never heard of it, don’t Google it. So gross. Anyway, certified organic sugar is not made with that process, so I’ve switched to organic. This is hands down the best value I’ve found for organic sugar and it bakes up wonderfully in cookies!

Easy to use!

We enjoy sweet tea. I haven't found any sugar substitute that doesn't have a bad after taste. I use this sugar due to organic, fair trade & has most of the cane color. Hopefully not as washed as the white sugar. It works well with making our sweet tea which we drink every day.

My favorite sugar brand

I love this sugar! The hint of molasses left on the sugar gives it a deeper flavor than standard white sugar, but not as deep or overbearing as full brown sugar. For baking purposes, it cooks like regular white sugar, and I've used it for homemade jams and syrups too, it has flavor, but even light flavors like rose petals or hibiscus still shine through.

Best cane sugar

I live the texture if this sugar. I love the flavor. I don't have use as much as other can sugars because this one is sweetest.

Sweet but not too sweet

I usually buy raw sugar but there was none at my local Sam’s. I chose these as an alternative. It does not have the same flavor and are finer ground than raw sugar but it does the job to add sweetness to our drinks and food. My wife made a comment that I also noticed. To get the same sweetness in our coffee we have to add more than what we use with the raw sugar.

Hard as rock! Poor customer service. Not usable.

Purchased this as part of a pickup order and when I got home with it I discovered that it's hard as a rock! I sent an email to customer service at To: NA Consumer Support <na.consumersupport@wholeearthbrands.com> asking how to soften it and they responded asking if I was talking about organic cane sugar or organic brown sugar. I replied that it was the organic cane sugar. Since then: crickets. I used the sugar in the past because it's organic but it's no use to me like this.
