I'd give them a B- for taste, as they're nothing like frozen. It took Sam's 4 attempts to finally ship them to me. The 3 prior shipments were lost. Calling was a 20 min wait, and when someone answered, the call was disconnected. Chatting with a rep was very fast for getting replacements.

We've bought these for years, and I always thought my husband just wasn't very good at cooking hash browns. Then we moved, and didn't buy these for over a year due to limited pantry space. Recently I started craving hash browns, and I was thrilled when I realized my husband had finally learned to make good hash browns. But he'd been using the frozen bags. "Why don't we get the box, it's such a better deal," I insisted. So we got the box, and BAM, nasty fishy tasting weird texture sad little skinny hashbrowns again. I didn't even finish a serving bc they are just not good.

The reason I joined SAMs club is to buy this. I really like this stuff.

yep, they are potatoes. they are quite tasty and easy to store with out spoiling as regular potatoes may before i get them used up

These hash browns are the best hash browns I've ever had. That includes frozen or fresh. I do a lot of cooking and these absolutely tastes fantastic.
