[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pet Pro machine did a very good job on 'acres' of off-white berber-type carpet. Functioned well with easy assembly 'out of the box'. On "Max" greatly improved a stained area that was thought impossible. Seems a second treatment may bring back to original condition. Clean and dirty solution containers remove and reinsert readily. Interesting that when gallon of clean solution is empty the dirty tank is right at its "full" line when used as instructed. By design? One concern is that used per manual instruction - - holding dispensing trigger on both forward and back motion - - it seemed too much solution was applied, thus causing some temporary 'wrinkling' in some areas. All thankfully dried just fine however. I had it set to "Max" for whole carpet. Perhaps when doing so will hold trigger only for forward stroke next time. Overall, machine performs as promised and I confidently recommend to others.

This is my third Bissell carpet cleaner over 25 years and I wouldn't buy anything else. I appreciate the fact that this model does not have the hose for chair/stair cleaning hanging on the machine. It makes it easier to use. The clean-up was easy also. #sweepstakes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced an older rugscrubber with the 1548. I was very surprised to see older, stubborn stains removed and/or greatly reduced with the 1548. These stains were unable to be removed with my older scrubber. I was really surprised how much pet hair was removed from my carpeting.. Also, the stair tool is very handy and worked well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 8 cats and they present me with many "opportunities" to use this carpet cleaner. It does a great job of cleaning up any messes and the highlight of each "opportunity" is the ease of cleaning the machine ! The only "tools" needed to disassemble this machine for cleaning are my hands, everything is easily taken apart, cleaned and reassembled. Clean up time is usually only a few minutes and then I can get back to whatever I was doing before the carpet needed cleaning. I would highly recommend this machine to anyone with pets and even to people without pets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't own pets but need a cleaner that would work on area rugs and carpets. I only used it once and it seemed to clean fine. The water was dirty. It was hard to use on the area rug as the rug kept moving.. Using it on the carpet was fine. I was a little confused as to which setting to use. The worst part was cleaning it at the end. I thought the rollers would remove, but they don't. Well unless you sort of take it apart. The little tool did clean out the nozzle. Yes, it does drip/leak when you stop. I guess they all do that. Haven't tried it on upholstery yet. Only gave it 4 stars because of cleaning it at the end.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first carpet cleaner I have ever owned and I am so glad I chose to buy a bissel. It is easy to use and does a great job. I don't think any other brand I've used can compare to this machine. The clean and used water tanks are easy to remove. Its not too heavy but has some weight to it so it doesn't feel cheap. All around a great machine. I have already recommended it to friends and family. The only negative I can say is the head needs to be easier to clean. Pet hair and other things get in there and its not really easy to get it all out.

I purchased this to clean it myself to ensure I would get my deposit back. I have two cats, one young, one old. The older one pukes food (chunky kitty eats too fast) and has hairballs. The younger one loves to knock plates and cups full onto the floor. Needless to say, this has cleaned everything except one red kool-aid stain. Which is the hardest to get out. I'm going to pretreat before trying that stain again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After researching commercial cleaners and other home cleaners, I decided on Bissell's ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Carpet Cleaner because of all the functions that it provides -- low carpet, high traffic areas, max wash, light wash, deep wash, pet areas-spot cleaning, stairs and upholstery, and the price was cheaper than renting/hiring. I watched videos and read reviews. They were mostly positive and the videos really showed before and after positive results. The cleaner was easy to put together -- only one screw to attach the top handle to the main unit, everything else just snapped in. Easy to mix the free sample sized solution in with the hot water. They sent two types of solution -- antibacterial and regular carpet cleaner. Both bottles lasted enough to cover a 9 foot area rug, and 3 good-sized bedroom thick carpets. There is still some solution left over for another bedroom. The water does get used up pretty fast, so you have to make sure you empty the dirty water container and re-fill the clean, hot water solution chamber. But the cleaner did get the carpet smelling fresh, looking brand new and was gentle on the carpet as the carpet was high-end thick carpet. We have an English Cream Retriever who likes to roll around all over the carpet after he eats, so he gets his order planted right in there, silly guy. And our bedroom that he sleeps in was smelling like a Nacho Factory. Smell is all gone and we feel like we have hygiene again, especially with Covid-19. The only real drawback and pain is cleaning the machine. It is not easy and it gets heavy to lift into the sick to clean the brushes and underside because of our dog's hair. Getting dog hair out of the plastic cover that pulls up the dirty water is a real pain and takes so much time. Plus the orange dual rollers underside -- I had to pick by hand and roll by hand each roller to get the caught fibers and hair - YUCK! Otherwise, powerful, sturdy, cleans well, easy-to-use and affordable.

Did a great job on my basement and stairway carpet along with 2 bedrooms upstairs. Only problem I was not satisfied with was the stairway attachment hose length. The hose only reached up to 8 steps as it stated in the instructions. Why can it not reach all 12 step without lifting the machine partially up the stairs.
