I used my Dads proheat 2x and loved it, so I had to have one. I use the proheat 2x revolution to clean my carpets throughout my home. I also use it as it is easy and small enough to use for spot cleaning when the entire carpet doesn't need cleaned. Easy to handle, simple to fill and empty. I would recommend it to my friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this after realizing our carpet has slowly been changing colors since the addition of our newest, big hairy black dog! This was a very cost-effective solution. I think I'm still getting the hang of it, I just have an issue with the water leaking a bit from the bottom when I have to clean carpet that butts up to the hardwood, so water does leak a bit on the hardwood. It's easy enough to clean up. This is a great alternative to hiring out a carpet service, and a much more cost-effective solution!

I have to say this Bissell carpet cleaner does a great job. I also love the long power cord! I don't have to unplug it and move it as often as my previous carpet cleaner. The tool they provide t get the hair out of where it sucks up the water. Perfect. Easy to use. I recommend this to any person, particularly pet owners.

Second purchase in a year. First one just started leaking water from tank to floor. The rest of it still works just can't have water in it. Return policy isn't the best. Second one only use cold water. I needed a rug cleaner and the price is the best around! I'm happy with the job it does!

Out of the box, the belt was not installed correctly and created a terrible burning rubber smell. It took some effort to open the unit and get the belt installed correctly. Bissell was nice enough to replace the damaged belt. Otherwise, the unit works great. It has much stronger suction than the older Bissell model even though the motor amperage is almost half. It is also much lighter in weight than the older model.

Cleans thoroughly and is light weight enough to allow me a 76 year old to clean my living room, hall and bedroom which are large rooms. I'm very pleased with the product. Fairly easy to clean up afterwards. The only draw back for me is the didn't put a cord reminder on it. Otherwise it perfect size and weight!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a carpet cleaner, so I use it to clean my carpets. The first thing I did was clean the throw rugs. It did a good a good job; but on one of the rugs, the edge of the rug caught in the brushes, causing them to lock up and destroying the belt that turns the brushes. So, I used the machine for 10 minutes, and it's already broken. I bought a new belt, and hope to install that. I wish there had been something on the machine to automatically turn it off when it got caught on something--but there isn't. Any time that happens, you're going to destroy a belt, and there are 3 belts on the machine. The machine is also terribly noisy when it runs. Because the belts on the machine are so small and flimsy, I'm uncertain about attempting to deep-clean my carpets. It has 2 settings: deep-clean and express clean. I'm going to stay with the express clean, so I can keep the machine together.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first time I used the Proheat 2X Revolution, I deep cleaned my carpets. It was amazing how much dirt it lifted out of my carpets. It cleaned up the stains from the new puppies & mostly got rid of the heavy traffic stains. Was very pleased. The downside was my carpets stayed wet for almost 4 days! I followed the instructions exactly & even went over them trying to suck out more water right after. I ended up opening windows, even though it was chilly & setting up a box fan to get them dry. I have used the Express clean 3 times now for those heavy traffic stains & the few puppy accidents that have happened & it has cleaned them right up! My carpets look great again. My carpets dry in about an hour to hour an a half. It is light weight & easy to clean afterwards. Glad I made this purchase. I would have given 5 stars but I didn't like how long the deep clean took to dry & I didn't get the deep clean solution it said I would get.
