Dove men+care delivers a great up-front shower experience. Lathers up nicely and cleans sufficiently enough. Works well on dry skin and has a nice, manly scent. For those with city water which is almost neutral ph, like mine, it seems to leave a slight oily film on the skin. Within a few days of using it my face, neck and various other body parts developed pimples. I stopped using the body/face wash and went back to my regular soap and almost immediately these dried up and went away. So, while my skin felt very clean and moisurized, it also felt very oily and filmy, possibly leading to my skin problems. Like any body

I felt like I had a film on me. I switched back to my old body wash, and that got rid of it, so it's definitely the body wash. I would never use this on my face. The scent is so strong, this would probably make me break out like a teenager again. That's the other thing. The scent is not good. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my Dove Men+Care Extra Fresh VoxBox last week and voluntold my boyfriend to use it exclusively for a bit. He has been using an Irish Spring shower gel product and it had been working just fine for him. Once he started using the Dove Men+Care Extra Fresh Body and Face Wash, he decided that it was a better product than the one he'd been using. His skin feels softer and it leaves a pleasant, clean scent. He did say that it lathers less than the Irish Spring gel, but that is not a deterrent. He's very happy with it and plans to continue using it.

The smell is out of this world! I thought he sprayed cologne before coming to bed but it was only the body wash he'd used. He said his skin felt moisturized and it gave a good lather.
