He liked the manly scent, like cologne over the usual flowery or fruity scents the body washes I buy smell of. This didn't lather up a lot, which he also liked citing that it was the perfect amount. There was also no filmy, greasy feeling after using this. His only concern was that this would be drying to sensitive skin in the winter. We'll see how it is then, but definitely recommend right now in the summer!
