I have very sensitive skin and Dove is the only soap i can use. I actually liked the original version better than this. This wasn't bad it just didn't make my skin feel as great and fresh as the original did. But for those with sensitive skin it can't hurt.

Dove's sensitive skin beauty bar is an all time favorite. My mom has used this bar for years, I grew up using this bar of soap and still love to use it in the shower. Each bar seems to last forever and knowing the great quality that Dove has, you can't beat the price!

I have recently developed sensitive skin and had to go through so many products to see what doesn’t irritate my skin. I use this bar of soap for a lot. Including washing my makeup brushes! I love this bar of soap because it’s one of the few soap products that doesn’t irritate my skin.

I started using this when i was getting tired of the shower gel bottles breaking in my bag. As an over-the-road trucker, I have to carry a shower bag with me on the truck and in/out of truck stop showers. The bar of soap is light and doesn’t spill. But that’s a moot point as the benefits to my skin have been far-reaching. I appreciate the fragrance free. I especially like th fact the bar lathers up and can tackle grease, diesel, as well as all the places a man gets dirty with ease. Even a guy can feel dirty sometimes, and after using this product in the shower; I feel refreshed and clean. Plus it’s great for the skin. Why go to the boutique stores and spend a ton on products by some designer filled with empty promises?

It works great and really cleans off the grim of the day, it leaves me skin a bit dry after wards though. Which is a problem I see with most dove products that I have tried. Its affordable and easy to grab while holding true to its claims....thought I am more of a shower gel type of girl

I have a fragrance allergy and sensitive skin, so I have used Dove Sensitive Bar Soap solely for my face, hands, and body for years because it was the best fragrance-free, gentle, moisturizing soap on the market I could easily find in stores and stock up on. Recently I started breaking out in dry skin and bumps, itching, and my eyes burning. I noticed some of the newer bars I bought smelled a little odd when I got them from the packs (like a chemical, musty, old vegetable smell), but thought it was the plastic wrapping and didn’t see any “new formula” statements on the package, so it was not first on my mind of what was bothering me. I had not changed anything else, so I was at a loss for why I was reacting to something. I just realized when looking at the ingredients of all my products that Dove did change their formula for the sensitive bar soap. I’m not sure why they would change something that was working. The other Dove Sensitive products are not fragrance-free either (which has always been odd to me) and the baby soaps are harsh on skin, so I am not able to switch to another fragrance-free Dove product. Guess it’s a sign of Dove’s decline in quality, lack of care for their sensitive and allergy-prone customers, and time to find another brand/not recommend Dove to anyone else anymore (especially if they have allergies and sensitive skin).

My dermatologist told me to use the plain sensitive bar on my face because this is the most dermatologist recommended face and body soap on the market. I did for a while but I prefer this scent . It’s so classy and clean. And bonus : I get the same great results . Soft supple clean skin

As I was using this simple little white, unscented bar tonight on my face, I thought " i wish I could get back all the thousands of dollars I've spent on special face products before I found this stuff." Who knew? We are pushed by the media to think that we MUST use some kind of complex "system" on our faces. For me, at least, this was not true. I was stunned that a normal, plain bar of soap could be the best thing to happen to my face in many years. I'm 50 and have dry, sensitive, yet sometimes oily t-zone issues. Living in the super arid climate of Phoenix Arizona definitely adds to the need for a non-stripping cleanser. This pure soap gently cleans. I use no toners or moisturizers, and I get more compliments on my skin now than ten years ago. Amazing. No issues with it whatsoever with sensitivity, and NO tightness afterward. Inexpensive, simple, lovely. Getting back to basics never looked (or felt) so good...on my skin and in my pocketbook.
