I've been buying this soap for many, many years. Because it was fragrance-free. Bought a 12 pack a couple of days ago (at the same price as a 16 pack a year ago SHRIKFLATION), and I used the first bar tonight in the shower. "WHAT is that SMELL????" The soap. Smells like mildew. It will all go back to the store. It's now in a Ziplock bag. I might even see if I can find some with a different batch number and buy some more and try again?? I will call Dove on Monday.

We've used Dove sensitive skin bars for years because my kids all have sensitive skin. Well, with the new formulation that has changed. The new bars have made them all break out terribly. Sad that companies decide to "improve" a product that didn't need changed.

I am not sure about the recent reviews stating the bar has a scent to it. I don't think it does at all. I mean, it has a smell, but there doesn't seem to be an obvious, lasting fragrance. Anyway, I am hoping this bar can help my super-sensitive, acne-prone skin. Today it felt great to use all over, so I am hoping I can switch to just using this bar in the shower and nothing else. Will check in again!

I am faithful to using Dove products as they have never steered me wrong. The sensitive bar in particular is good for washing feminine areas as I don't trust a lot of the feminine washes out. The fragrance is light to non-exisitant and it doesn't leave my skin feeling dried out.

I have used Dove soap for over 30 years I use to use the regular bar. Until I found the Sensitive bar my Son has allergies , and his Dermatologist recommended it. And I am alwsys complimented on my soft skin. Thank You for a wonderful soap. Sincerely Delma

The Dove Sensitive Skin Beauty Bar is an affordable soap and it's fine for daily use for people with only slightly sensitive skin. But because it is a bar soap, it is still a little drying and the soap can feel a bit harsh for those who are very very sensitive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My previous cleanser was not as gentle on my skin. The Sensitive Skin Beauty Bar made my skin feel soft and smooth after using it. I did not like the smell as much. I also used it on my daughter with eczema and allergies and when most soaps make her break out, this beauty bar did not.

I have dove that my dad bought years ago, maybe even a decade, and love it. It was the Sensitive Skin. Now, with the original dove and sensitive, my skin becomes very itchy. I am not sure what is causing the itch. I thought it was the scent of the original dove, but now I think there is something different with the bar itself, like a chemical reaction on the skin. I hate it, can't even sleep after washing with either one. I have the Men+Care one, and have little issue with that. But these ones are intolerable.
