I have been using Dove for over 30 years and love it as I have sensitive skin. I just opened a new bar of the Dove Sensitive Skin - unscented, hypo-allergenic beauty bar and I was gagging from the terrible scent. I was shocked that Dove would put this product on the market with this "scent" and label it unscented. I had to wash my face and hands a couple of time with another cleaser just to get rid of the smell. I hope that Dove will replace these with a truly "unscented" bar just like it says on the box.

This is my favorite bar type of soap, but to be honest bar soaps are not really my thing. I more prefer the dove body wash as i think it creates a better lather and is more hydrating on the skin. I do, however, find the bar soaps great for traveling as theres no liquids involved.

Was 5 stars but now I have to give it a 3. I'm disappointed that they seem to have reformulated. I've been using dove sensitive skin soap for years and have loved it. Now when using it leaves my skin feeling almost leather like, which is problems I've had with other soaps in the past, which is why I originally started using dove sensitive skin. I really hope they change the formula back. Please I'm begging!!

I've been using this product for nearly 20 years. The newest batch has a terrible smell. Smells almost like something soured. I actually thought something was wrong.I have also noticed it has been irritating my skin, its very harsh now. Interestingly, their soap bar with oatmeal smells exactly what this product used to smell like. Seems like Dove is playing games with their products. I won't be buying this anymore.

I've used dove for a long time and hands down it's been my favorite but I've recently been told sodium tallowate is still an ingredient? I don't see it on this particular list but I have seen it online and I'm confused. Sodium tallowate is very drying to the skin and outdated.

I have been using Dove soap for 40 years, and now I have to find another soap to bathe my sensitive skin. I am so angry with Dove and I HATE the new formula. It smells like garbage and is NOT for sensitive skin, it makes me itch. And, I am stuck with 11 other bars of soap because I just bought a large pack not knowing about the change. WHY? why change something that MILLIONS of people have loved and relied on?! Stupid corporate move. I will never buy Dove soap again!!

I recently decided to try this because I've always used a cheaper brand hypoallergenic soap but I moved to a new climate and my skin is dry and painfully itchy. This soap makes my skin feel much better and more hydrated. I expected it to have no scent at all but this smells like crayons. I hope to find another dove product with a better scent that doesn't irritate my sensitive skin.

The fact that this had everything I needed when my skin was a bit sensitive was so perfect. To be able to switch and try one that would sooth me for that day. I would definitely buy more often. I decided to let them try the sensitive bar. It did not disappoint. No body odor, no ashy skin, no break out from the product.
