I purchased a family-size back of the smaller payday bars, and on almost all of them, the entire back side of the bars was void of peanuts. I cannot say if this was a cost-cutting measure, or a quality control malfunction (I suspect the latter), but it made for too much sugar and not enough peanuts. I hope that this isn't Hershey's way of decreasing costs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of my all time favorite candy bar of all time. I can eat they cold or room temperature. You can never take a bit and not get a great roasted peanut and the nougat is allway just the right amount of sweet.

I got a few for Halloween this year, and they were all ungodly salty! Like burn-your-mouth salty! I had hoped I had gotten just one or two bad ones but after the third one I stopped. Obviously I didn’t eat the whole thing after those first terrible bites…

I haven't tried them in years, but I'm so glad I did because this candy bar is added to the list of new favorites. If you haven't had it in a while, I strongly suggest you try them again, you won't be disappointed.

I've been buying Payday candy bars for decades, and its losing its luster. They've started using inferior products. More specifically they use peanuts that are hard and or roasted to near burned condition. At this rate I expect it will disappear off store shelves due to lack of quality control measures. What else might be getting passed through the food manufacturing systems these days?

I really like how this PAYDAY bar hits all the spots and I love that I get to satisfy my craving for a sweet little treat and get the goodness of peanuts. My new go-to snack.

No chocolate, so if that's a deal breaker, this isn't the treat for you. But if you're looking for a non-chocolate snack, packed with protein, give Payday a try. Crunchy. Chewy. Salty. Sweet. Payday is a nice mix of yin/yang throughout and thoroughly enjoyable down to the last bite. Just use a bowl or be prepared to be eating peanut crumbs off of your shirt--there are so many peanuts that they crumble a bit with each bite.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Payday has been around for a long time. I enjoy the peanuts wrapped around a chewy center. It is a great snack for the on the go . The candy bar has 7 grams of protein do it will fight off hunger pains for awhile.

Salt can easily overpower things but the center being full caramel helped so much. These were in little 2 or 3 bite size bars depending on what you consider a bite size and wrapped individually. So they were perfect to take as a snack on the go, to work or just grab a few and walk around the house while eating.
