My spouse surprised me with a bag of original jolly ranchers and to my dismay, there were no watermelon flavors candies in the bag. Broke my sweet carving heart :( I was so disappointed as this has never happened before. I have been loving on watermelon flavored jolly ranchers for over 50 years! A sad moment in history for me :( But, there's a rainbow on the other side, she had purchased a 2nd bag for work, and gave it to me immediately. The 3.8oz bag contained 5 watermelon jolly ranchers which was enough to feed my craving.

I buy jolly ranchers over and over and over again to use in my classroom as incentives. Students love to be able to earn them, especially the blue ones. The flavor is sweet yet tart and they are the perfect prize!

I have a candy drawer in my kitchen and definitely going to toss these in there. These are the hard candies, so make sure you only give these to the older kids. Too easy for the little ones to swallow.  

Please fix the assortment issue with the assorted bags. I'm quite sure every consumer wants to have a decent amount of each flavor put in an assorted bag. I purchase 2 some times 3 large bags a week of the different assorted mixes. I am tried of opening the bag to find mostly all one flavor with a few of each additional flavor and some flavors have none at all. There has to be some way of quality control to ensure consumers can get what they are paying for. If this problem can't be fixed soon I will stop buying and find another product to replace it.

I have seen several reviews here of people not getting any Green Apple in their bags. Unfortunately, the same has happened to me. I purchased a 14 oz. bag fully expecting there to be some Green Apple ones in there as they are my favorite, but there wasn't a single one. The bag was 75% cherry with a handful of watermelon, grape and blue raspberry. I know the bag says "assortment may vary", but no Green Apple is super disappointing. Are fewer Green Apple produced and that is why they seem to be so scarce?
