This is my first set of stainless steel so I did a lot of research on reviews to make sure I made the right choice. I chose this Viking set based on the amount of high reviews and the fact that Viking is a well known high quality brand. That, and the fact that these were in the price range I was looking for, is what lead me to purchase. I became a Sam’s member strictly to buy this set since I couldn’t find them elsewhere online. I’ve now been cooking with this set for a few weeks and although this is my first time cooking with stainless steel, I can’t imagine how they could be any better. They have a nice weight to them, they don’t ding or dent easily, and I love the way they look. So far, I’ve cooked pastas, grilled cheese, diced potatoes, meat, etc and I’ve never had an issue cleaning them. I use barkeepers friend to keep them shiny! I’m very happy with my purchase and will definitely consider this brand in the future!

Very nice quality set

I know Viking from their high-end ovens and was surprised to learn that they make cookware as well. 

My first impression of this set was "wow, these are heavy duty!" The cookware arrives neatly packaged in a box and I was surprised how heavy it was. Each pot, pan and lid came wrapped in plastic and cardboard, which seemed like a lot of waste, but was done so everything could arrive in one piece.

So far I have only used the pots and noticed that they heat quickly and evenly. Each lid has a tiny little vent in it which was fine for boiling water, but I'm not sure how cooking rice would work. I also loved how the pots have measurements on the inside to make life easier. 

The only downside is this set isn't non-stick. I think there will be a bit of a learning curve figuring out how to properly season the pans, but it will be worth it. 

This set is gorgeous and high-quality. I've only used them a few times so far but I can tell they'll last for many years to come. Plus, I finally feel like an adult with a matching set of pots and pans. :)

Heavy-duty cookware

I've been looking for Viking cookware ever since my kitchen remodel included a Viking appliance suite - this cookware is beautiful and so high quality!!  I gave away every other pot I had!!  Sam's website is super easy - free shipping is a definite plus!!

Highest quality cookware...

This Viking cookware set is hands down the best cookware I've owned.  The value, quality, and construction is great. I’ve only had my set for a little over a week, but I’ve cooked quite a few things already - veggies, eggs, pasta, etc… Having a really nice cookware set has really motivated me to cook more at home. 

This 13 piece set is versatile and covers pretty much everything that I cook. I’ve used the large sauté pan the most, which is great for stir-fry. I also love how the pots have internal volume markings, which makes it super easy to eyeball measurements. The cookware is heavy for its size, but very solid and well constructed. Great even heat distribution, even with my electric coil stovetop. The handles are shaped well and feel nice and very secure. 

I was concerned about using stainless-steel vs non-stick. I’m used to non-stick cookware. In the past, when I’ve used stainless-steel, it’s been a cleaning nightmare. I am realizing now that I never used stainless-steel properly. I followed the directions included in the set. The key is to heat your cookware on low for a couple of minutes before you actually start cooking. Works like a charm!

What a difference having a quality set makes! This set is really beautiful and makes me feel like a professional cook at home. I've already given away my hodge podge collection of pots and pans that I've collected over the years. I highly recommend this set if you’re looking for cookware.

Fantastic stainless-steel cookware. Major upgrade!

Bought this when it was on sale.  Upgrading my cookware from hard anodized to stainless steel.  I've used two of the pots and the 10" skillet, as well as the stock pot with strainer, all with excellent results.  It does require paying more attention to detail to avoid sticking, but its definitely worth it.  I recommend this product.

Beautiful and High Quality

I bought two sets. One for us, and one as a wedding gift. You can't compare this cookware to any other sets. The finish, the weight and the look is simply the best. The results are alway perfect. Once you learn how to cook with great Stainless Tri-Ply, you'll never go back to economy cookware.

Lifetime Quality - Great Results

This set is beautiful! Thebsame exact quality as if ordering from Viking directly. It has a very nice weight & feel. Cooks beautifully, the key is heating the pans with oil before adding your food=no sticking. Definitely recommend Bar Keepers Friend too keep them beautifully shiny & felt pot separators if you need to stack them for storage. I love this set, it will last a very long time.

Fantastic Set!

Bought these to go with our new LG Induction Range.
Boils water or starts simmering in about 20 seconds and the glass top still is only warm to the touch.  Very impressed how these pans work, their quality, and looks

Impressive Quality

The Viking cookware was an excellent purchase. The heavy stainless pots and pans are of superior professional quality and will last. The Sam’s Club price was very reasonable.

Viking 13 piece Heavy Duty Stainless Cookware

The cookware set is very beautiful and shiny. Easy to clean and so far it didn't warped yet. I would not recommend to cook fried eggs on this cookware. They stick, and you will not get a perfect looking medium egg. I like using these cookware for sautéing veggies food, and dish with some kind of gravy or soup. the bad thing is like what I said, it is not for cooking fried eggs. the bottom of the cookware turned bluish. I think I can remove it with the right cleaning detergent/polish.

Not Too Bad

I purchased these online, so I did not realize the handles are not comfortable. Even without anything in them the handles are awkward and hurt when carrying the long handles. The pots otherwise are good.
