Cooking Directions:

  1. Thaw and boil noodles in large pot of boiling unseasoned water for 1:30 minutes. Make sure to stir noodles occasionally to evenly cook and untangle any strands.
  2. In a large soup bowl, pour 1 packet of Tare Seasoning and add (depending on preference) 10 oz to 12 oz of hot water to dilute.
  3. Drain cooked noodles and add to hot soup. Garnish with preferred toppings such as sliced chashu, chopped scallions, fish cake, or boiled eggs.

Delicious, easy prep, comfort food!

I’ve tried many different types and brands of saimin, udon and ramen, fresh, frozen and dried. This is by far the tastiest, and is our family’s favorite. It’s easy to prepare. I add fresh greens and sliced meats that my family prefers. Note: we’ve been watching our sodium intake for decades, so I dilute the broth packet quite a lot, but it’s still a delicious noodle dish.

delicious

Noodles taste like it's freshly made. Soup base not salty, you can always add less base or more water. so that is not a problem for me. it is a 4 pack, each pack has 2 individual servings separated. taste delicious by itself, next time I'll add fish cake and green onions
