I am very happy with this mattress! I haven't had back or sciatic pain and I'm getting better sleep. I was concerned about a chemical or moldy smell that several reviews had mentioned, but my mattress had no smell at all. It was promptly delivered and easy to set up.

Better than unexpected!

So far so good.  This day in time mattresses come in a box and you really aren't going to know what the are like.  This one is better than the one we had.  Sleeping better than what we had.  I got a king size, came in a box coiled up.  When the outside wrapping was cut it swelled right up.  I just hope it holds up.  I did have to order sheets with deeper corners.  Box weighed 118.  So easy to put on the bed.  We have it on top of old box springs.  Seems pretty firm so far.  If you push down on it, it doesn't feel as firm as if you are stretched out on it.

Serta for certain.

We bought this just shy of a month ago and seriously I have been recovering from knee surgery and also suffer from chronic back pain and this mattress has eliminated so much of my pain!!! It was comfortable from the first night we slept in it there wasn't even an adjustment period. I wish I would have switched mattresses sooner!!!

Best mattress ever!!!

We waited 12 years to get a new mattress. We were thinking about the following brands, Purple, Saatva, Sleep numbers, and the 12" Sam's club foam mattress sold in club. In the end we choose obviously this mattress. We were having aches and pains in our backs when we would wake up. All off that is gone with this new mattress. Setup was a breeze just take it out of the box, cut open the bag, and unroll plastic wrap. We left it in the living room for awhile and let it fully expand. No problems so far. We are both side sleepers and at first we noticed that we wanted to sleep on our backs, but now we do both. It is advertised as cooling or cooler, but with a mattress protector, fitted, and flat sheet on it we really don't feel it. Maybe if we had less on it we might feel it more. In our opinions I would not waste your time with the 12" version. We happened to catch this mattress on one of Sam's one day sales for 599.99, definitely worth it.

Great foam/gel mattress

I wish we would have been able too purchase in store- I would only purchase the 14 inch which turned out to be 13 1/2 even after 3 full days of resting in spare room with no one on it, I wanted the thickness as I'm guessing it might sag.  We've only been sleeping on it for 2 weeks so far so good.

14 inch Bed in box

The bed expanded to 12.5 inches after leaving it for an entire week to expand. It was immediately 12 inches on one side and 11.25 inches on the other corner and looked odd, but the oddness has disappeared. It is a very soft bed if you sit on it, but laying down is very comfortable, and you don't sink into it at all laying down.

I only got 89% of what I bought

The bed is soft yet firm if that is possible, just enough give to be comfy and cozy yet doesn't hurt my back being a stomach sleeper. The only thing I didn't care for was how hot I get sleeping on it, wish it had the cooling gel (I assumed since it said gel it would be cooling)

great value for the price

well I want this to be as honest as possible...it is ok for the price, it is not to soft or to hard, I am around 200 lbs. and I have a bad back and tried it without my topper and my back sill hurt a little bit, so I put back on my 3 inch topper that I already had and now for me it is perfect for me to sleep on and my back is not hurting anymore. I hope that this helps the next person that is going to buy this...I would buy it again it is a nice mattress.

Nice mattress

If you are looking for extra, extra, extra firm this is the mattress for you.  Leaves my neck, shoulders and back stiff and sore.  I am a side sleeper.  My husband is a back/side sleeper and he finds it fine if he stays on his back but if he sleeps on his side he wakes sore.  We have slept on it since December 28th. It will be returned.

Super firm!

I bought this mattress based on reviews but didn't realize most of the reviews were by persons who received the mattress as part of a promotion.  I don't recommend this mattress, I've had it for 30 days and wake up every morning with a backache.  This mattress is very firm.  I wish I could return it.
