Royal Basmati stays whole and doesn’t get mushy. It has a great taste. Jasmine rice used to be my fave but I’m hooked on this one. Will never buy regular rice again. It’s worth the slight difference in price! You can use it in many recipes, not just Mediterranean dishes. I made Mexican rice with it.

Always fresh, great brand and price

I buy this rice every so often, it's lot of it ,but we like rice. I take this big bag rice break it down to 2 cups per bag and vacuum it into flat packs so it stacks well after all  rice is bagged I put it in bottom of our freezer. I like the Balsamic rice best. Stores well like this.

Perfect Rice every time!

This is the best value for Basmati that I know of other than having an Indian grocery store close by.  It isn't the best Basmati that I've ever had, but still excellent, delivers fast, very good quality and convenient at the lowest price you will find.

I have been eating Jasmine rice for over 30 years. My Sam’s was temporarily out of Jasmine rice and I had been wanting to try Basmati rice so I got a sack. It is so good especially If you like rice that doesn’t stick together. It makes great fried rice. Wash it very thoroughly to get the starch out. I use a rice cooker and use less water than they call for. I use 1-3/4 cups water to 1-cup rice.

Maybe my New Favorite or Co-favorite?

Great Rice, but, i don't know what happening this last time, my whole family are suffering from Gas, and all of them have the same stinks, like metal gas, something wrong on this bag of rice

This rice promotes gas a lot

We have purchased Royal Basmati Rice many times before but this last time purchased in May 2020 had bugs in it.  We tried to remove some but there's too many. I took out 3, then 8, then 15 bugs.... and I keep finding bugs!  I've heard putting the rice under hot sun will get the bugs out so I'm trying that. I'm not sure returning to get a different one is worth since it's high chance that the whole batch most likely will be bug infested also!

Emailed Sams Club customer service.  Maybe I should share the pictures to Sams Clubs account on Instagram and Facebook!

BUGS in Royal Basmati Rice! see pictures!

I have been been buying this rice for many many years from Sam's Club.  It takes me a while, even with having company for dinner, to get through 25 pounds of rice.  Before, it great from the first cup to the last cup 25 pounds, over a year or two later.  However the last 25 pound bag I got ended up with weevils in it.  It was less than half used..  I thought. . well guess I had it too long,  (though the bag said best when used by August 15, 2017)

I bought a brand new 20 pound bag..  I've had rice out of it I think twice.  Last night I got ready to get some rice and saw it was full of weevils, even tough the bag says Best when used by November 15, 2019.  The plastic bag was twisted and secured with a twist tie and the burlap bad was zipped all the say up.  If I can find my receipt I am taking it returning it.
