The hillside-styled Backyard Discovery Malibu Cedar Swing Set boasts two comfortably sized clubhouses connected by a sturdy wood staircase. Each is equipped with its own sun-soaked balcony and flat-step entry ladder. For extra fun, the lower fort contains a play sink and stove. Two belt-swings along with a trapeze transport your children to a breezy seaside, while two sandboxes offer endless hours of beach-like play.
What are the Features of this Playset?
The pair of oversized multi-level clubhouses features a stove and sink for kitchen play. Two flat-step ladders offer easy access to both clubhouses while two sun decks add extra space. The bright green and yellow wavy slide gives kids a fast way down. Two belt swings and a wheel glider swing add even more activity options to their time outdoors.
Is Assembly Required?
You can put this together yourself or, for an upcharge, pay to have it put together on delivery. The wooden playset is shipped with pre-cut, pre-drilled, and clearly labeled parts for easier assembly. All lumber and hardware are included to help keep all connections and joints tight and secured. Drilling a few pilot holes may be necessary. It usually takes two people about 18-24 hours to completely assemble this playset.

So I bought it when it first arrived I opened all 4 boxes counted all bolts and boards made sure they were all accounted for! That being said some of our boards were not labeled!! I highly recommend you follow the app instructions and not the paper book instructions!!! Lots of our boards were split and warped so we had to do our best and improvise! It did I fact take at least 20hrs to put together!! You will infact need other tools that’s not listed! So far our has held up through a few storms we have it anchored! We did have to make a couple modifications to the little club house windows and the upper club house latter access! Because we have a 2yr old and he definitely could have fallen through now he have taken safety measures to prevent that! The slide could be better I don’t prefer the way it went together and it didn’t even slide well until we put turtle wax on it! I do feel like the upper porch needs a middle support so we will be adding a middle support! Overall my kids love this play set I have a 2yr old and 11yr old!

Sturdy Playset
Well designed cedar playset. Very sturdy when completed and the grand kids love it. The instructions need to be more specific and fine tuned for assembly. There were several areas that did not make good sense and the sequence was less than efficient.As the fine prints states, the entire set has to be sealed to insure the warranty applies. This process required 3 gallons of outdoor oil sealant and literally took an entire day w/ four adults working on it. The required assembly time was greatly under estimated, @ 20+ hours for two adults. We easily spent in excess of 50+ hours to do it well.

Kids love it!
We bought this set for our kids. The set looked particularly small when it was delivered as it showed up in 4 boxes. However the parts are not in any particular order so it is time consuming finding all letters and numbers. Also had a hard time figuring some out as they were doubled stamped making 5 to look like 8 and so on. The biggest fit we had was that we didn't receive enough bolts. After 2 separate trips to the hardware store for missing bolts and 3 missing boards the set is now complete. It took us 4 nights with 4 people to put this set together, working around 4 hours a night on it. However it is together now and the kids are happy and play on it nightly!
