I have this washer 5 days and when it starts to wash it just continues to make a grinding noise.  Such loud grinding noise. And it continues. I asked home depot where i bought it. And two of the ladies that work there said this was so for them to. They had this washer. Loud noise and they just said they close the door so they do not hear the noise. I feel it should not make this sound at all. So far keeping an eye on this washer. Please let me know if it is suppose to make the awful noise. Of my past 2 washer I own, Never made a sound.

Do Not Buy! Save your Sanity!! I have currently been trying to wash 3 pairs of pajamas pants for the past 2 hours. It keeps going unbalanced and sounds like it is going to blow through the flow. This has been an ongoing nightmare. I will never buy a washer again with no agitator and I will never buy another samsung appliance.

I've had this washer for less than 4 years and the suspension rods are completely shot — I have to redistribute the load several times, restart the spin cycle several times, and practically offer a sacrifice to the gods to get the load to finish. I would love to repair with new suspension rods, but genuine manufacturer's rods would cost MORE THAN THE WHOLE MACHINE. I'm so tired of planned obsolescence. Don't buy this machine. I'm off to search for a washer that will last more than 5 years….replacement parts should make $$ sense to get!

horrid suspension, repair makes no financial sense

Purchased in 2021, and for the last 2 and half years it consistently gets an “unbalanced code”. Washing a load of clothes takes FOREVER. I have had it repaired and it worked okay for about a month. I hate I purchased this washer. Now I am in search of a new washer

Constantly unbalances no matter how evenly clothing is distributed, small or large loads. Then, randomly begins another rinse cycle--my electric and water utilities are off the charts. What should be a normal 40-some minute wash, can turn into a 3 hour nightmare.

If it unbalances again, so help me...

After exactly 3 years I can't use the washer. It will not complete the spin cycle. Shakes so bad and the drum has dropped significantly. I had the suspension rods replaced, but did not fix the problem. I am a grandmother raising 2 grandsons, 1 with special needs. I can not put more money into it and I can not get a new washer. This has kept me up at night and brings me to tears. A washer should last more than 3 years! I bought a new set just for the reason it would last longer. But here I am, no washer!

Less than 3 years old, the washer constantly shakes violently and then stops the wash cycle with an error of "Unbalanced".  Even if you wash just 4 t-shirts it will give the same error.  My floor is completely level and I've tried every resolution Samsung has suggested.
After some research, I discovered that many other people have the same problem with this washing machine and the issue is caused by faulty suspension rods.  After hundreds of complaints I'm not sure why Samsung wouldn't consider this a recall and fix the recurring issue.  Getting this serviced would be at least the cost of a new machine.  I own several Samsung appliances but this one is definitely a lemon.

Known Issues Regarding Unbalanced Errors

My mom, cousin, and I all bought this same washer over a year ago and we've all had the same problems
1st it stop spinning and we all replace the same part. The springs. 2nd the hot water inlet valve doesn't shut of on mines and my mom so now we has to replace that part to keep water from running the whole cycle. We are very disappointed in this product.

Cheap parts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Problem from the start. Doesn't rince on normal cycle. Also don't put out any code for a problem but it had more than one issue. Always went to rince and spin when powered on, never did high spin cycle. Repair guy put in a new board which fixed other issues but still don't rince on normal cycle unless you use the extra rince and then does two complete rince cycles that takes forever and waste water. I'm not impressed. Took a week just to get an appointment for repair and no response yet when I told him still not working. I didn't pay that much to babysit a new one, could have done that with my old one 🤬

Bad control board issues.

I didn't pick this washer out it was part of the package when I bought my home 18 months ago.  The washer is continuously off balance with a Ub error code.  We rebalance the clothes and it takes 3-5 cycles for the washer to finish a load (this is hours of time wasted and gallons of water wasted). I have according to manufacturer suggestions and YouTube etc researched it thinking I was overloading the machine but I haven't.  It goes off balance regardless of load size.  Now we found out it's most likely suspension rod issues.  So we have to either pay over $500 to have it repaired or do this ourselves (still costing approximately $320 for rods  (cheaper ones are on Amazon but our repair man suggested only using factory parts because they last longer.  Either way the washer is valued at $545 at my local lowes.  So it looks like a engineering flaw is going to be a regular $300 maintenance repair issue until I buy a new washer (not going to be this one for sure)
