About this item

Product details

FRONTLINE® Plus for Dogs, Flea and Tick Treatment, 8 ct. (Choose Your Size) is a topical medication that controls and kills fleas and ticks for 30 days. It also works on the eggs and larvae of fleas.

What are the Active Ingredients in FRONTLINE Plus for Dogs, Flea and Tick Treatment?

FRONTLINE flea treatment has two main ingredients that are tough on fleas and ticks. These include fipronil and methoprene. The flea and tick killing power of FRONTLINE Plus kills the fleas already present on your dog, and it also eradicates the eggs and larvae, which annihilates the next generation before it can get a hold in your pet's fur.

How Does FRONTLINE Plus for Dogs, Flea and Tick Treatment Work?

The flea and tick FRONTLINE Plus for dogs contains a long-lasting killing action. The FRONTLINE flea medicine stays just under your pet's skin, which gives them a non-stop protective layer for 30 days. This medication is recommended by vets because of the protection it provides.

How Do You Apply FRONTLINE Flea Treatment for Dogs?

First, you will need to remove the FRONTLINE plus for dogs applicator from the package. While holding the applicator upright with the foil side toward you, gently snap off the applicator tip at the designated line. Using your fingertips, part the hair just between your dog's shoulder blades. Place the tip of the applicator just above your dog's skin, and gently squeeze the FRONTLINE flea treatment medication onto the exposed skin. You will need to empty the entire contents of the applicator onto that single spot. You should reapply the flea and tick FRONTLINE Plus every 30 days.

Why Is It Important to Protect Your Pet From Fleas and Ticks?

The bites from a flea can lead to disease. Some of the dangerous diseases that can be caused by flea bites include flea allergy dermatitis, anemia, tapeworm and rickettsiosis. That is why it is so important to use FRONTLINE flea and tick for dogs to keep your pet healthy.

Save by buying in bulk

I get the bulk size of the largest doses and divide it up among my smaller animals. Cats get 0.5ml, chihuahuas get 0.67ml, etc. This saves a ton of money compared to bying premeasured doses. Just use a 3ml oral syringe to measure and apply to the back of the neck.

I had my labs on Nexgard until one of them started having seizures. I didn't realize at the time that the Nexgard was causing them. I don't like tick collars so I went back to Frontline. I used Pet armor for years but my Vet encouraged me to use Frontline. It works great. I haven't found a single tick on my dogs which is great for northern Wisconsin.

Best One

I don't like the idea of giving my dog Chewable flea meds-(Nexguard) It's poisonous for fleas- I'm sure it's poisoning my dog- Frontline is topical and works the best! Never saw a flea or bug-
