It is easy to use and accurate. I uses a battery that is easily replaceable. It does not require an app on my phone to work, which is great. My last battery themometer had an unreplacable battery and needed an app. This is so much better.

Works great!

Previous purchases from Sam's arrived damaged, so we stopped home delivery.  This time we got sick at home and had no choice except to order on-line. The thermometer arrived undamaged because it was properly packaged/wrapped!!  Considering ordering on-line again from Sam's.

Improved Shipping

This thermometer is easy to use, with fast and really accurate results - I chose it because it was one of the top two recommended by a credible consumer's nonprofit organization. It was also reasonably priced and delivered right away. I have three other digital thermometers (one oral under-tongue type, one electronic in-ear type, one electronic forehead type) and none are this reliable.

Quality Thermometer at a great price.

Great product. Bought one when my daughter was born. Now she went to college and wanted one to take with her. Have given many as baby gifts as well!

Easy to use thermometer

Works well and provides repeatable readings. Temperatures are taken quickly; much faster than oral thermometers.

Do make sure to read the directions - and look at the photos - carefully. This unit needs to be used exactly as per the directions.

Works well and is very quick

Seems to work okay, just had a difficult time getting the batrtery cover off

Extremely difficult to take off the battery cover.  I took hubbys temp 3 times in a row and got 3 slightly different temps.  Which was correct?  Maybe I should take it once and just believe it.

I'm not thrilled with it

Haven't been able to remove battery lid, yet. Very tight, feels like you might break it.

Battery was dead upon opening the new packaging and it was very difficult to open the battery compartment to insert a new battery. I contacted Exergen the manufacturer twice and no response
