The upholstery on the back board is poorly made. The seam around the the top looks like it will split at any time. There were missing wooden slats that support the bed.

The Backboard Too High
The backboard was too high above the mattress. There is a 3" space between the top of my mattress and the lower edge of the backboard. Does not look good at all. I also thought that the materials were 2nd rate and some of the installation did not go well because of the pieces not fitting well and then eventually started to squeak when sitting down on the bed or rolling over. NOT GOOD!!

The headboard space is exactly 10" in height to accommodate the standard mattress thickness of 10"-14". You may contact Sam's Club Membership services to have any needed parts replaced.
