The heavy gauge polypropylene cases have been specially built to take a pounding without damaging the cells. Twist-and-release vent caps make removing caps a snap and the new lifting system maximizes convenience.

Great battery

I bought 4 batteries in June 2017. They are starting to lose charge more quickly and I have decided to replace them. I checked the water every other week religiously...They MUST have this done.............so many do not or check every few months....

Why all the negativity?

I'm surprised at the number of negative reviews. I have 2 of the EGC2 used in series for my off grid travel trailer. These are charged and mainteined by a Renogy MPT charge controller. Going on year three with no complaints, no issues. I really belive battery system performance id directly related to maintaing and optomizing your system properly. Good clean connections, proper wire sizing, never over-discharging and keeping an eye on heat and water levels. I'm going to buy more to expand my reserve capacity.
