I own 3 of the double bin's, purchased yearly even though there have been a few problems. The oldest/first problem happened during the winter a few years ago. While attempting to rotate the left bin in the middle of winter the metal holding pin broke. Later the metal pin on the Right bin bent. It's still usable and rotates you just can't lock the bin's into place anymore. Since the pin's are central to the construction I never bothered to contact support. Lesson Learned, Don't rotate the bin's in winter.

Fast forward to this year and a "younger" bin the metal hinge rusted apart. If you can't close the bin then you can't rotate so I dug up the manuals and contacted support. 

It's an excellent product, and I'm satisfied with my multiple purchases. What would I have liked to know before purchase? Don't rotate bin's in the winter. The pins are solid and can hold them in place. But rotating in winter the cold and friction are just asking for trouble. Besides, in the winter you want to get back inside the house anyway!

Brought my bin composter many years ago and needed a new turn handle. They responded quickly to my request and I had my spare part with in a matter days. It is a pleasure dealing with a company who really cares about their product, customers for the long term. Excellent service support.

Great long term service

So far, this is a great composter.  It took a bit to put together, but it seems very well made.  I really like the idea of having two bins, with one always cooking.  They are a good height, and the wide opening makes it easy to load leaves and clippings with a shovel.  They are very easy to turn, with a good latching system.  They also have a very large capacity, which I really like.  I already have one bin full and cooking and am working on the other bin.  Really seems to be a great product.

Great Dual Tumbler Composter

Not hard to assemble but one leg of the unit was not manufactured properly, causing great difficulty and delay. I had to file down this defect in order to finish the assembly.

Good bins, more than some assembly required

I haven't had this long enough to evaluate how it holds up in the elements - I have only started to use it, so only giving it 4 stars, plus there could be some improvements.  For example, you never have metal hardware screw into plastic.  It will always strip and never hold up.  That being said, it was only for some internal brackets that I am not sure really serve any purpose.  Also, the corner pieces could be designed a little better, but overall, when you consider the sale price or even the normal price when compared to similar composters, I think I would have to upgrade to 5 stars.  It was a little time consuming to assemble, but not overly complex and a second person helping would have sped up the process.  Doing it by myself, I think it took about 2.5 hours (with some breaks).  But all appearances are that this is the perfect composter.  Super capacity and better than any others I have found on the market independent of price, so the great price just makes it that much better.

Good overall: Great for the Price

We purchased the double-bin rotating composter a number of years back.  It had been outside and unmaintained for a few years and had some issues (needed some parts replaced).  We itemized several parts that needed replacement (but were unable to find our receipt).  They sent us the parts (and then some - extras included) without hesitation.  A+ rating in my book.

Good Bin, Excellent Customer Service

I bought my double composter at Costco in 2014. I'm a lazy composter, so my compost takes longer, but I've been overall pretty happy with mine.  The weak point on mine is the cheap metal hinge system they use, but the strong point of the company is that they promptly send a new set when they break.  Excellent customer service is more important than anything to me, and I'm happy to give my business to and recommend this company!

Awesome customer service!

My husband is an accomplished "DIY" person and still it was a bit of a challenge to get together single-handedly. As far as "tumbling" goes, once it gets a decent amount in the bin it's a beast to spin; I think that may be due to the boxy design. We still do not have a load of compost completed (it has only been 4-6 weeks) so I cannot yet comment on that aspect of it. I do like that my stinky 'garbage' is now contained, and the tumblers aren't an eyesore like my open bin was, so in that respect I'm happy with it. The true test will be if it effectively yields lovely "black gold" as the end result.  :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this composter few years ago and had difficult time to put it together, way too complicated and some parts seem to be low quality which are already breaking. From my personal experience I found this composter poorly designed and very difficult to put together with a short time life quality.
