Our original purchase of our compost tumblers was smooth, and we received the product which has been performing well for the last 5 years. When the hinges became too rusted to hold the lid on, they not only sent me the hinges, but new lids.  When I had to email them that the lid fasteners hardware was not with the lids, they immediately replied that they would ship those too --- we received them within a few days!  Thank you Lifetime!  My compost tumblers may just last a lifetime!

We got ours from Costco years ago.  It sits on our deck.  We alternate between one side that's 'baking' and the other get new material.  About every 4 months, we dump out the side that's been resting, sift out the big pieces that still haven't completed (avacado pits, mango seeds), and off we go.  Our garden boxes love the material.

Anyway, Lifetime has been great as well.  A few years ago, one of the hinges broke.  Sent an email and we had a new set the next week.  Last month, one of the latches finally seized up.  They sent out replacement the next week as well.  Really can't ask for better service/support.

Couldn't ask for anything more!

It is nearly 5 years since I purchased the Double Bin  Composter. Still going strong, and in my climate, we compost year-round. Having two bins in one unit works great. No more stockpiling materials while waiting for a batch to finish. Organic gardening is my great passion and the ability to use my own home made soil amendment from what many people throw away is a good feeling. The unit looks tidy and neat and is easy to use. Thank you, Lifetime for a great garden product!

Best Ever and So Easy to Use!

I requested some replacement parts (hinge and lock lever) for my Lifetime Composter and this company is fabulous! Customer Service Agents Darwin and Terry responded quickly and provided me with the replacement parts I needed quickly, without any fuss.  Highly recommend purchasing Lifetime products because this company stands behind its products and the customer service agents are outstanding!

Double Bin Rotating Composter replacement parts

I bought a double composter many years ago at Costco. after years of use my hinges wore out. I called Lifetime customer support and the person was very nice and said no problem he would have new hinges shipped for free.  That is customer support. I will buy from lifetime again.

Good deal and service

Not hard to assemble but one leg of the unit was not manufactured properly, causing great difficulty and delay. I had to file down this defect in order to finish the assembly.

Good compost bins.  The assembly takes considerably longer than expected, but once that arduous task is complete they work very well

Good bins, more than some assembly required

Over all I am happy with the product and using over 2 months. However, it required skilled help to assemble and it took 2 people over 2 hours. Two joint strips were broken in shipment which I received from life time for replacement. The challenge is how to replace broken one with new one. Hope I get instruction from Lifettime. 
I see two issues Liftime need to improve and help me out.
1. As shown in attached photo door latch round cap cover falls off when I rotate. I put tap over it to keep it in place.
2. Pink guide on handle comes off and do not stay

Great Feature

After a number of years the time and weather has taken a toll on the metal hardware. Following the failure of both lid hinges (rusted out and broke) I called customer service looking to buy replacements. I spoke with Corbin about the hinges and learned that they were on backorder. Corbin said that he would place me on their parts list for these hinges and that they would be sent to me w/o charge as soon as they came in. We have had these bins considerably longer than the warranty period so I was very pleasantly surprised to hear that there would no charge for them. That's how you stand behind your product!! Thanks again to Corbin for his A+ customer service!!

Bought this composting bin a number of years ago and it has worked great.

My husband is an accomplished "DIY" person and still it was a bit of a challenge to get together single-handedly. As far as "tumbling" goes, once it gets a decent amount in the bin it's a beast to spin; I think that may be due to the boxy design. We still do not have a load of compost completed (it has only been 4-6 weeks) so I cannot yet comment on that aspect of it. I do like that my stinky 'garbage' is now contained, and the tumblers aren't an eyesore like my open bin was, so in that respect I'm happy with it. The true test will be if it effectively yields lovely "black gold" as the end result.  :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this composter few years ago and had difficult time to put it together, way too complicated and some parts seem to be low quality which are already breaking. From my personal experience I found this composter poorly designed and very difficult to put together with a short time life quality.
