Enjoy this product and remember our domestic fishermen's hard work and dedication. <h3>Crawfish Étouffée Recipe</h3> Ingredients: <ul> <li>1 stick butter</li> <li>1 ½ tablespoons flour</li> <li>¾ cup chopped celery</li> <li>¾ cup chopped bell pepper</li> <li>¾ cup chopped onion</li> <li>1 lb. crawfish tails</li> <li>¼ cup chopped green onions</li> <li>¼ cup chopped fresh parsley</li> <li>Salt and pepper to taste</li> <li>Hot cooked rice</li> </ul> Instructions: In heavy pot, melt butter and stir in flour. Stir constantly, over medium heat, until mix is the color of peanut butter. Turn heat to low and add the chopped celery, bell pepper and onion. Cook until vegetables are tender, about 15 minutes. Stir often. Add crawfish tails and cover pot. Cook over low heat for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally to make sure mixture is not sticking. Excellent crawfish tails and reasonably priced. Have purchased this in the past many times from Sams. Better than buying boiled crawfish and go through the trouble of peeling them to use in other ways. Also it is caught and produced in Louisiana that is highly important to me.
