Easy Maintenance

this engine never needs an oil change with Briggs & Stratton’s Just Check & Add™ technology. Simply add oil if it’s low. The self-propelled drive is essential for yards with hills and slopes of all degrees to maintain a consistent cut and is safer by providing more control during operation. This mower features a durable 22” steel deck with the convenience of a single lever that adjusts the deck height of all four wheels together. You’ll have three options to convert to quickly and easily without tools: rear-bag capture of clippings–side discharge or mulching, choose the best option for your type of grass to keep your lawn looking beautiful all season long. The 12” rear and 8” front wheels are PVC-wrapped for durability and roll easily over all terrain. The handle can fold in the middle with the quick-turn knobs for more compact storage when needed. Good Mower - sticking with gas power for now

I find this a good lawn mower for our 1/2 acre lot with lots of trees and hills. It has enough power, is fairly light, is well thought out and executed, and the self propelled feature is solid. Returned a Greenworks electric mower for it’s for lack of sufficient power for tall/thick grass and probably also for mulching leaves in the fall.

I bought myself one last summer, and it cut my mowing time in half. I bought a second one this year for my son. It is easy to assemble, the power of the self propelled feature, the adjustable wheel height and 12 inch wheels make hills easy to mow. I saw many reviews about the speed of the self propelled being to fast, it does not really adjust, however, adjusting the height of the wheel and depending on the length of the grass, the mower speed did vary a bit. The propelling feature operates separately from the engine it is easy to disengage the power to the drive quickly. Bonus for ordering online from Sam's, with my premium membership, free delivery to a small town not to close to a club.

I have owned several lawnmowers over the years, and they are always difficult to start, especially at the beginning of the season after sitting a long time. This one arrived, I put the handle on, added oil and gas, and with one pull, it cranked! It cranks on the first pull every time. I love it!.
