Good size for my home standby use.  Manageable to move into position.  Runs well with propane.  Relatively quiet with add-on muffler extension.  I like it so far.

I bought this a week ago and immediately put it to use. At first, we couldn't get it to run by pressing the on/off button, nor the remote control; it would only start manually. It turns out it needs to run a few hours for the battery to charge. 
So far, we are happy with the purchase.

Purchased it for it for power outage and hope that I never need to use it.
That being said, I am only using propane. Instructions were good and easy to follow. Started right up and ran for about 40 minutes so far. I tested several items and will run later toward fall after I do a little more research for possible main panel hook up.

Somewhat informative

Great generator so far.  I've put 2-hours on it so far using the propane fuel option and no problems.  Running my RV air conditioner, refrigerator, tv and microwave, it was running at about 60% load and w/in the realm of the generator.

The adverised decibal rating is wrong.  At idle w/o a load is 61 db. @23 ft.  It is heavy, weighing in at 105 pds. and requires 2 people to lift into the bed of a truck, unless you want to throw your back out.

Great

Just received my iGen5000 dual fuel generator, filled it with the supplied oil, connected the battery and hooked it up to propane and used the electric start and started immediately.  Have also tested the remote start and worked well.  So far impressed.  Packaged well.  Instructions are good.  Can’t wait to really test it out!

Seems well built

Very useful during outage, ran for 5 days worked wonderful and so much more quiet then my old generator.  TV, Two Refrigerators lights and fan over 13 hours on 3 1/2 gallons of gas. I tried the the LP gas connection just to be sure it worked and it was supper easy and worked great too.  Connected the 30 amp connection to RV and even had hot water showers. Best thing i bought for hurricane Milton.  so   were out of power for 7 days. Can't wait to use it when I go RVing, so quiet , electric start and can use RV tanks or gas. I'm 73 so love the start and easy to roll on around.

A little expensive but worth it.

Nice decent generator unit but there is a very similar iGen5000DF model that offers more wattage sold by others. This does not have a CO sensor (which is a plus in my book as they often fail) so be careful to only use this outside. Louder than expected (as much as 80dB  standing next to it) on 70% load. This brand had a lot of tutorial videos on YouTube highlighting its popularity.

Decent but same price as the iGen5000DF model

So far, it’s been a good purchase. The packaging was solid, everything was in the box, and nothing was broken. I just completed the break-in period and plan to use this generator for camping in a few months. The reason for giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I haven’t really used it beyond the break-in period yet.

great unit!

I ordered and paid for an i500DF Generator and twice received i4500 DF. The boxes read i4500 DF but the little scan stickers on the box read i5000 DF. No one at Sam’s Club could explain why this kept happening. Finally gave up and ordered from Lowe’s. Lowe’s was cheaper and can deliver the correct product. Probably won’t ever order from Sam’s Club again. Sam’s Club online customer service is in the Philippines. Good luck on communication! Right hand doesn’t know what the left is doing!

Ordered and received wrong product twice!

I am super bummed about this purchase. I live in Colorado and the generators need to have hearts installed to compensate for our high altitude. Unfortunately, Westinghouse does not allow you to just order the parts. They require you to request for the parts, but they are so overwhelmed that they cannot fill your request anytime soon or answer any phone calls. So my 30 days to return the generators if I don’t think they will work is coming up quickly and I can’t even try them out. It would make more sense to just let us order these parts online.
