About this item

Product details

When a whole beef tenderloin is portioned out, it can yield some of the most popular foodservice items: Filet Mignon, Tournedos, Filet Steak, Filet de Boeuf, Biftek (beefsteak) or even Châteaubriand.

The Member’s Mark Brand

The Member’s Mark brand is a division of Sam’s Club and is made up of a team of trained chefs, food experts, package engineers and more. Customers can find a wide array of items that are kosher, organic, fair trade and wrapped with eco-friendly packaging. The line is constantly evolving to fit the needs of today’s consumer and what they want.

For best cooking results, pre-heat oven to 425°F. Season meat as desired (salt and pepper is usually all you need). Set tenderloin in roasting pan and roast until the meat reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (40–60 minutes). Let rest for 15 minutes, cut and serve.

DIY Beef Tenderloin

I usually get this cut at the store and choose it myself, trim it at home and it always comes out fantastic! This year, I was sidelined with an injury, so ordered it online and went to pick it up at the store. That is a great service, by the way. The piece of meat I got this year was actually in two pieces instead of one, so that upset me a little bit, but after I trimmed it and tied it, (I tied it into one big piece) it turned out beautifully once again. This beef tenderloin from Sams Club is a great savings and if you learn to trim it yourself, you will come out with a fantastic meal for your family.

Max weight Meat Be Watchful

Be WARY I shop online all the time, been a member since 1999. Ordered this, read every detail, the 19.98 per pound/90.71 and the little i's final price may vary states This is the maximum price you may pay for this item (sounds like the 90.71 is the max) then they confuse it by saying * based on weight may vary. So then why have the $90.71 then if it isn't the maximum? I know how to shop and I know all about weights and adjustments, anyone on a budget watches that! I was charged over $158 and it wasn't an item available to be returned. That is not a small adjustment which is normal for weighted items (in all these years no more than $10 up or down). Customer service only tried to tell me how I read it wrong, oh and contact local store.. ...

Perfect butt tenderloin for great filets

Purchased 3 of these tenderloins, trimmed them, then cut into 4-6 oz. portions. I seasoned them lightly and sous vide them for 3 hours, then a little more seasoning and onto the grill to sear them briefly. All 20 guests raved about them, commenting that they were done perfectly and very tender.

    Devoured every Morsel

We bought a 6-7 pound tenderloin for our family Christmas dinner. It was cooked to perfection by my son and devoured by the family. It was tender, moist and delicious. It was better than a filet mignon that I had recently experienced at one of those restaurants that specializes in filets, where dinner runs you $250 before alcohol. I was very pleased with this purchase.

Great Quality, Too much at once

The quality is unmatched for the money. Bought these often until they decided you had to buy them in a 2-pack. (Typical Sam's life time supply packaging.) Too much beef for my freezer on top of the refrigerator. Its a 20+ cubic foot unit but with all the other commodities you typically freeze space is at a premium. Now I just spend a little more and get 4 really nice ones precut. No membranes or silver skin either.
