The Good Charcoal is made with zero chemicals or additives and comes from the Namibian bush in Africa, one of the hottest places on earth. It’s made from acacia, a denser wood than oak and hickory, which burns hotter, cleaner, and more evenly, so you do not need to use as much charcoal for your barbecue. Our sustainably harvested hardwood acacia lump charcoal is denser than hickory or oak wood. We are approved by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) sold in the United States. The FSC sets industry standards for responsible forest management and ensures that we sustainably source, produce, and ship our products.

In addition to our Good Charcoal, we partner with local communities across the US to support and sponsor-free weekly barbecues and food drives for people experiencing food insecurity. We have provided over 20,000 meals in 11+ cities across the United States.
