The flexible spout on the 5 Gallon SureCan Safety Gasoline Can rotates down more than 180 degrees and fits perfectly into any machines fill location, while the thumb release trigger on top controls the flow. By pulling straight back on the safety trigger and then down on the thumb button, fuel is released immediately while you stay in complete control of the flow the entire time.   

When you notice your fill tank is almost full, slowly release the thumb button and allow the excess fuel to drain from the top of the spout before rotating it back up. There's no more need to bend over and tip your fuel can forward while holding it in an awkward position!

I actually had to cut a small piece off of the stub that keeps the lid from opening. (Turning) I tried to unscrew it at the Sam's gas station. Several others tried as well. Outside of that, it does hold gas.

Great gas can

This gas can is amazing , with a old style can your constantly standing on your head to get gas in whatever your filling up then if you move just a bit it spills , not to mention they’re making them now to where it’s hard to figure out how to even use it ….well let me tell you this gas can is so easy to use you just put the hose into whatever your filling up then just push the lever and that’s it, no more getting a workout holding a full gas can trying to pour it in I sit this on the edge of my mower then put the nozzle in the tank hit the button and bam it just works as it should easy peasy , it’s kinda hard to get excited over a gas can but I’m exciting to use this each time knowing how easy it is get ya one you won’t be disappointed

These cans are so easy and clean to use. Say goodbye to the old squeeze and click safety valves. This is all controlled at your thumb and no need trying to tip a van to fill up the mower and then spilling all over. Simple flow and stop valve and bottom line supply line.
