Uncompromised Security

Secure your firearms with the Sports Afield 32-Gun Fire & Waterproof Executive Safe. Made from industrial-grade steel, this safe features five 1.25-inch solid steel active locking bolts and three 1-inch steel deadbolts for optimal security. The active bolts are strategically placed in a 4-way configuration for comprehensive protection. The safe also includes a waterproof bolt-down kit and four predrilled holes for secure installation. Approved by the CA DOJ, it offers a reliable storage solution for your firearms. The supplied bolt down kit includes the bolts, the anchors, and the washers.

Innovative Lock Technology

The safe features an illuminated and programmable electronic lock with Print Guard technology. This advanced feature generates a random 2-digit sequence before entering your passcode, ensuring a random pattern of fingerprints on the lock face to deter pattern-guessing thieves. For emergencies, two Fail Safe override keys are included to guarantee access to the safe.

Thoughtful Design

Designed to accommodate firearms and valuables, the interior is fully carpeted to protect items from damage during storage. The convertible interior can be adjusted or removed to suit your needs, allowing you to store important papers, valuables, and more alongside firearms. The safe also features bright battery-powered LED interior lighting for visibility in low light and an integrated UL rated power outlet for convenience. The shelves are made out of plywood, fabric and a vinyl trim. The weight limit for the shelves is 50 lbs and the shelves will remain intact as long as that weight limit in not exceeded. The interior fabric is a felt material.

Elegant Aesthetics

The safe adds an elegant touch to any room with its eye-catching powder coat finish, 5-spoke handle, and beveled edges. It is available in Charcoal Gloss Metallic, Silver Gloss Metallic, or a Black Cherry Gloss Metallic powder coat finish.

Nice safe for the money.

This seems to be a good safe for the money. I narrowed my decision down to this safe and a Liberty basically the same size from Tractor Supply. The Sports Afield safe had a higher fire rating, as well as, a waterproof rating. I loved the US made aspect of the Liberty, but the nearly $400 more price point for a Liberty safe only slightly bigger, but with lower ratings and less features just didn't add up to me at this time. I will say that the lock bar system on the Liberty felt and looked better than the bolt system on this safe. It is nice that the Sports Afield safe has backup keys for manual entry in case of electronic lock failure. However, the keyed system seems pretty low quality and I wonder how hard it would be for someone to pick. The liberty didn't have a backup option on the safe I looked at. The set up of the Sports Afield safe was easy. The inside LED light strip is a nice feature. The light is battery powered though, so there is the risk of forgetting about the batteries and having them corrode over time. I picked this safe up in store so I had no delivery issues as some have reported. I knew going in that it would be a chore moving it, but with two people and a good set of hand trucks it wasn't that bad. As with any safe, do your research and make sure it's large enough for your needs. The 32 gun rating is a best case scenario assuming hand guns are not in cases and your long guns have no optics or accessories. Also keep in mind that even though the door pouches are nice, you have to allow clearance for the door to close properly. There's not a lot of room between the front edge of the shelves and the door once closed. Overall I am pleased with this purchase so far. The safe is of good size and quality for the price. If something changes or an issue arises I'll revise this review.

Awesome gun safe

It is pretty heavy so that's good but make sure you have a couple people to help you move it. Also I couldn't anchored it to the floor since i have carpet but i was able to get it anchored to the wall studs. It comes with almost pre drilled holes in the back at least on the metal layer so you just have to drill the inside layer so it was pretty easy I just bought some hardware with loops and shackle everything together keeping it pretty secure. It has a lot of space and having the interior lights is great.
