It is the best cheese ever. You can't go wrong.

Societe Roquefort has always been, IMO, lower quality saltier and drier that Vernieres. I have found Vernieres to be far more flavorful and both subtle and superior in its flavor the Societe. The Societe quarters wrapped in plastic is better than the variety packeged in a wedge-shapped plastic tray. (damning with faint praise....)
