Appliance Delivery 1, Basic Installation 2, and Haul-Away 3 Information for Refrigerators, Washers, Electric Dryers, and Electric Ranges

The home delivery service includes basic installation to set up your new appliance, as well as haul-away of your old appliance. Parts and accessories required for basic installation are included. Member will receive a call, email, and/or text from a service representative to confirm appliance installation requirements and limitations. Before placing an order, please confirm that the contact information in Your Account is correct (address, email, phone) to ensure a smoother delivery process. Member must be at home during the scheduled delivery time frame.

1. Delivery: Delivery and Basic Installation are available in limited locations (not all zip codes covered) and only in the continental United States. Delivery is not available in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and other U.S. territories or for APO or FPO addresses. Additional service fees for rescheduled delivery will apply if delivery is attempted and Member is not home or does not answer.

2. Basic Installation: The delivery and installation teams are NOT authorized to perform any modifications to your home, such as carpentry, plumbing, gas or electrical work. Basic Installation may be unavailable in some locations depending on local, state, or industry codes and standards. During your home delivery appointment, the delivery and/or installation team(s) will be able to determine if any additional work and/or permits are required that exceed the Basic Installation, customer will need to hire 3rd party installer to complete installation. Basic Installation covers standard installations as per the provided guidelines of covers standard connection to existing, up-to-code utilities (like plugging in an electric range or connecting a refrigerator’s water line). It also includes the haul-away of your old appliance. Complex installations, which may require additional time, materials, or specialized equipment, or home modifications are not included in the Basic Installation. Customers are responsible for hiring a third-party installer to complete such installations. 2 step installation - A second appointment may be required with a license installer in some municipalities that require licensed installers in order to complete installation of Dishwashers, Gas Range, Gas Dryers, and Over the Range Microwaves.

3. Haul-away: The delivery service includes haul away of your old appliance, provided it has been uninstalled prior to delivery. Complex deliveries, including dishwashers, gas ranges, gas dryers, and over the range microwaves, may require separate delivery and installation appointments. The delivery team will not uninstall or remove existing appliances. Haul away will be provided by a licensed installation contractor during the second appointment, not the delivery provider.

For your safety, the delivery team CANNOT:

  • Remove their shoes. They will act with care to protect the home and merchandise
  • Alter property to complete a delivery except for simple door removal
  • Modify existing cabinets or HVAC equipment, including alterations such as cutting into existing cabinets, walls, counter tops, etc.
  • Relocate or reconnect used appliances to home utilities.
  • Convert gas or propane lines
  • Lift or hoist appliances over objects or through windows to complete a delivery.
  • Work with or touch exposed wires, rusted or corroded shut-off valves and copper valves
  • Update home to local code. If the connection points are not up to date to local code, the customer will need to hire a licensed plumber or electrician to bring the home up to code.
  • Uninstall or relocate built- in appliances. Will haul away only if uninstalled before delivery and if a haul-away service was purchased with delivery. NOTE: Built-in refrigerators cannot be hauled away.

Its Like Night and Day

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Talk about a big step forward - this was like switching from a loud rumbling horse carriage to a whisper quiet electric vehicle. This review will compare the old and new washer. As you can see from the photos, this was a big upgrade. The old washer and dryer looks like something from the 80's whereas the new one looks like something from the new millennium. Cosmetically, there's no comparison which one looks better. The old unit was the old tradition drum washer and made this loud and horrible slushing sound when running. People had difficulty sleeping when it was running. The new washer is super quiet and you could hardly notice it running if someone didn't tell you. From a capacity standpoint, both the capacity of the washer and dryer in the new stacked unit was almost twice that of the old unit. This means double the amount of laundry could be done in the same amount of time. Big score. One convenient feature that I really appreciated with this stacked washer and dryer unit is that the controls for BOTH the washer and dryer are accessible n the middle of the unit where everyone could access it. If the washer and dryer were purchased as separate units and stacked with a stacking kit, the controls for the top units would be way up high and hard to reach. This is a major convenience feature for anyone who needs to have a stacked washer and dryer and for height challenged people. I did encounter one surprise which was that my old stacked washer and dryer unit only needed a single 240V outlet. The new unit had a separate 240V plug for the dryer and separate 110V plug for the washer. So, if you are replacing an old unit like mine, make sure you have accommodating electric outlets nearby or else you will need to hire an electrician to install a separate 110V outlet (like I had to do for mine). All in all, I am very happy and satisfied with the new unit. Like I said, its like night and day.

Nice laundry hub design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have work clothes that I normally wash myself. I like the interior and the large capacity of this machine because of the amount of work clothes I have not to mention how heavily soiled they are. I thought I would have to ask my wife how to operate this machine. But when saw the start button and I looked at the dial and started turning it, it became easy as pie. By the time my wife came in to help me, I already had my clothes in the washer. Even thou I don't like the amount of time on some of the cycles, I was even able to shorten the time to what I wanted. While turning the dial, I saw all the cool features, like the steam options, towels, bedding, and quite a few others. It even has an option for denim. Now, I like that since I wear a lot of jeans. It even has self clean which I haven't had to try yet. Wow, I have not seen so many options on a washer. And it lets you know when its complete by playing a tune. Fancy. And I'm always looking at the dryer filter to make sure it's not packed with lent. Now, I don't have to keep looking. It has an alert to let me know and it has a vent sensor. It has an energy star certification, which for me is important. I'm not that thrilled with HE machines because of the low water issue, but I do like saving money. And with this Samsung appliance having a 20 year warranty on the motor makes it a good investment. Even thou this machine is lacking the vibration reduction technology, it only slightly shakes when it's spinning during the rinse cycle. I'm old school, so I feel like I'm in the 21st century by being able to wash and dry from a samsung smart app on the phone. I can't wait to tell the guys at work.
