[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was genuinely surprised by how much storage this 32 cu. ft. refrigerator offers compared to my previous one. After transferring everything from my old fridge, I still had about half of the space left in the fridge compartment, which makes a big difference in daily use. I no longer need to constantly rearrange items just to fit new groceries. That said, I do miss having a slim hanging basket in the freezer compartment—something that could fit in the gap between the upper basket and the door—for smaller items like ice packs or ice cream bars.

I also spent quite a bit of time deciding between a 42” built-in and a 36” freestanding model. With my space being 42” wide and 40” deep, I ultimately chose this 36” unit for its larger capacity, since built-in options couldn't offer the same storage. In hindsight, I might have considered another Samsung model with a zero-clearance hinge, which requires less space for door opening. Pairing that with a slim pull-out cabinet could have achieved a more built-in look while still maximizing storage.

The fridge looks modern and clean, and it gives the kitchen a much more updated feel. The inside is spacious with plenty of room for groceries, drinks, and meal prep containers. The shelves are easy to organize and the drawers keep fruits and vegetables fresh longer than our old fridge.
The cooling performance has been great — both the refrigerator and freezer stay consistently cold, and the ice maker works well. It also runs quieter than expected, which is a nice bonus. The doors feel solid and the overall build quality seems very premium.
One thing we especially like is the sleek design without bulky handles sticking out. It looks very stylish and blends nicely with modern kitchens.
Overall, this has been a great upgrade and we would definitely recommend this Samsung refrigerator to anyone looking for a spacious, modern, and reliable fridge.

The interior layout is very practical, and the large 32 cu. ft. capacity makes a noticeable difference—I can store more groceries at once and keep everything better organized. It also runs very quietly, which is a big plus for an open living space. The door bins are spacious and easy to access, fitting gallon milk, tall bottles, and all kinds of cooking sauces. The full-width bottom drawer is perfect for fruits and berries, and the overall interior flexibility makes it easy to adjust for different storage needs. I also like the vented back design, which helps maintain consistent airflow even when the fridge is fully loaded.
The Auto Ice Maker keeps up well with daily use, taking about a day to fill the ice drawer from empty. The SmartThings app is a nice added convenience—I can activate AI Energy mode, adjust the fridge temperature remotely, and receive notifications if the door is left open, which is very helpful for everyday use. The delivery experience was also great—they handled our narrow doorway smoothly and installed everything with care.
One thing to note is that the doors are about 4 inches thick, so you'll need at least 3 inches of clearance on each side to fully open them; otherwise, the doors will stick out from the wall.
