I purchased the rising star premium vanilla extract. The vanilla was crafted with Madagascar bourbon vanilla beans and I do get a hint of the bourbon flavor when smelling it but not in my food when I baked with it. So far I've used it to bake cookies and used to flavor a beverage and it was what I expected from pure vanilla extract. There are no additives, the ingredients are real ingredients.
