[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This came out so good. I followed the risotto recipe on the back minus the shallots, but it came out really good. It takes time to cook it cause you have to cook it slow and watch it so it doesn't burn, but I would definitely recommend this rice. This is my first time making risotto from scratch so I appreciate the directions back.

Next time, I will definitely add some mushrooms. The moisture absorbed correctly, leaving a beautiful texture. The flavor was very good. Their is a versatile short grain rice. The packaging is perfect for keeping it fresh and easy to reclose, which is very nice.

Best ARBORIO Rice in the USA!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love risotto! I used the Arborio rice to make lemon risotto with Parmesan and fresh cracked pepper! This dish takes just under 30 minutes and comes together in one pan and turned out super creamy. The rice absorbed all of the butter and chicken broth I slowly stirred in. I added some frozen cooked shrimp at the end for my husband, and he loved them. I didn't have chicken on hand, but next time I'd add chicken on top for myself for added protein. He said this dish is a keeper!

Delicious and high quality risotto rise

This worked perfectly for my usual recipe which consists of butter, rice and chicken stock, stirred often over a 20-min time period to get the right consistency. This rice has good flavor and the color is the same as any other arborio rice. The starch in it is perfect for creating the risotto. Love the container it comes in for easy storage.

Great risotto rice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been trying to find a new brand of Arborio since my favorite one has been discontinued. Out of the brands I've tested this one is my go to choice, though it doesn't quite plump up as much as I like. It cooks in pretty much the same time without much variation. It absorbs the liquid quickly and well. I usually put a cup more liquid than it recommends on the box and omit the wine. It comes out with a bit of resistance but not a crunch. I just wish it was a bit thicker in size. I like that the container reseals easily as it does sit in the cabinet a bit till I use it again. My favorite thing to make with it is my mum's salmon risotto. Mine is never going to be as good as hers, but it's pretty close!  This rice doesn't let me down.
