Growing up in the Deep South, I thought all persimmons were bitter, because that was what I had tried to eat. These persimmons are so juicy, sweet and delicious!! You can peel them if you want to, but the peel is eatable and good. The riper (softer) they are the juicier they are as well. I prefer mine to be a little firmer, but either way you will never miss a season again. They are scrumptious!

The Sweet and Delicious Persimmon

I love fruit and I watch for these persimmons to come in season. I call them Apple Persimmons because they are ripe and delicious when they are still firm.

Test so sweet and delicious, hope it stay firmer little longer, vert sweet when it gets soft but I prefer firmer persimmon

Eat it like an apple or wait for it to fully ripen and scoop the inside to eat it, and it will be sweeter.

Disappointed.  These were hard and not ripe. Have had them for almost two weeks on my counter. (Apparently they don't ripen after being picked from the tree?)

Save your money

1st box I hand selected was sweet and delicious. This 2nd box was part of a pick up order, hard with black spots. Will have to return them.
