It's been my experience that Sam's meats deliver high quality at a fair price. Not necessarily lower price than grocery store, but worth it.  I grilled this pack of ribeye steaks, and I swear they were New York restaurant quality.  Tender, juicy, flavorful, nicely cut and trimmed.

High quality beef at a fair price.

This is very good steak. It took a long time to cook on the charcoal fired barbecue but that probably enhanced the smoky flavor. They were nicely marbled. I look forward to having these again.

Outstanding steak

We've been purchasing these steaks for a number of years and have yet to be disappointed... They are cut to an appropriate thickness along with the other steaks in the package... we just share a steak given it's just the 2 of us now... the flavor is great and the marbling is great as well... All in All I would recommend these Steaks to anyone looking to purchasing them...

Excellent Steaks

These were awesome. I used a nice Montreal Steak spices and garlic powder rub. Then reverse seared those (oven 350 for 12 minutes, then cast iron pans for searing) and they turned out great.

But bring your appetite because these are caveman size steaks! Wonderful beefy flavors.

Massive Fred Flintstones steaks!

I have went out of my way for 30 years to buy Sam's ribeye steaks. Yall used to custom cut, custom package, free of charge whole cuts. I understand times have changed. But I haven't personally purchased a steak in over a year until this purchase 
. I was very disappointed. Obviously beef prices have increased greatly. That shouldn't result in the only ribeye offering being a 1” or less cut. Cooking a 1” ribeye correctly is just not possible. I understand the business model but it's sad. Price point should not out weigh quality offerings. Please understand the quality of the beef was very good but we don't want <1” ribeye.

Ribeyes are too thin.

These were pretty chewy steaks especially given the price.  Cooked to a perfect medium rare they should have been way more tender.  Won't rush to purchase again.

Good flavor.  Too much chew.

The taste was good but they were so full of gristle it was embarrassing when served to our guests. Very disappointed especially considering how much we spent on the meat.

Too much gristle

Ribeye are usually more fatty and I don't mind because it makes the meat so flavorful.  But the last time I bought these they were so bad that my husband and I couldn't even eat them.  We ended up throwing them out.  They were so full of gristle we couldn't even cut around it to get a bite of meat.

First and last time to buy ribeyes at Sam's, they were tasteless, tough and full of gristle. We had friends over and I was embarrassed when we cut into our steaks and they were so bad.

Ribeye Steaks

Super disappointed by the cut steaks… they were not “steaks” rather hunks of meat that did not look good at all.  And there was about a pound of scraps at the bottom under the other “steaks”. It’s like whoever was cutting this did not care at all. So disappointed.
