Outside of the Member’s Mark salmon, this tilapia is my go-to fish for everything. It’s clean, mild, and easy to season however I want, whether I’m pan-frying, baking, or making fish tacos. Each fillet is individually wrapped, which makes meal planning simple and mess-free. I appreciate that it's farm-raised and sustainably sourced, and at 18g of protein per serving, it fits perfectly into a healthy diet. The fillets cook evenly and flake beautifully every time. I always keep a bag or two in the freezer for quick dinners. No bones, no skin, no fuss, just solid, dependable fish at a great value.

My Go-To Everyday Fish,Versatile and Reliable

I've purchased this several times as the Tilapia is individually packaged for convenience and is a great option for either lunch or dinner.  The filets are nicely portioned and easily defrosted.  We pan fry them in avocado oil and lightly seasoned.  Highly recommend this if you like fish and have minimal time to prepare for meals and not sure how many you may have over for and need to adjust the quantity served. .

This is the best Tilapia

It's a big 10 pound bag of frozen chicken breasts that's a little bit cheaper by the pound than our grocery store's frozen chicken.  Quality, taste and everything was great. We are on our second package and will buy it again. It makes more sense to us to buy a frozen product than to buy “fresh” chicken that was likely shipped in a frozen container and then thawed for the display; to only take it home and freeze it again thinking this is fresh.

Great product

Even though the tilapia fish is frozen it still tastes delicious and fresh when cooked. I like the fact each fillet is vacuumed sealed for easy thawing time. The price per package is reasonable as well.

Delicious fish

My husband and I love this Tilapia…..so light, flaky and not a lot of strong fish flavor.  I just salt it and add Panko crumbs to both sides and pan-fry it in just a tad of oil…..doesn't take much.  It comes out so crispy on the outside and the fish is so moist…..such a great flavor.  This is the only Tilapia I'll buy…..really good.  Thank you, Sam's!

So light and flaky!

I know many who won't eat Tilapia, but I love it!! I only buy it at Sam's Club because it's cheaper than anywhere else. I've never had a bad bag, and always enjoy my Tilapia meals. If you like Tilapia, this is a must price wise for you.

Great Fish at a Great Price

Large filets.   Well packaged.  I thought these were breaded when I purchased but they are not.  Fresh taste.

Convenient and great to have on hand for a quick meal.  These are individually wrapped and defrost quickly.  They can be prepared in many ways to suit any taste.

Convenient and fresh

The product I purchased turned out to be tasty as usual. The individual pieces of whole tilapia slabs varied in size and thickness so much it was difficult cooking them without under or overcooking the fish.  Need a more uniform size, please.

Minnow to Whale!

The frozen tilapia filets are very convenient for quick meal preparation.  However, I have found that some of the individual packages did not always have intact vacuum seals. In some cases, the air caused oxidation of the lipids resulting in a slight "rancid fish" flavor.  Thorough rinsing of the filet removes most of the off flavor but don't expect "fresh-caught" quality.  I still purchase these but usually cook them using strong flavors (e.g. ginger, soy sauce, etc.) to mask the rancidity.

Convenient but packaging has some issues

Worst tasting fish I have ever eaten. Ate one forkful and the taste was so bad I threw the cooked portion away and the entire remains bag of frozen filets as well.
